Yeah. That is a nice lot, but pricey. I bought a few bits yesterday and the seller seems very open to offers so don't be put off by the prices of the expensive stuff.
That looks pretty good (for the price). I can tell it's a bunch of rings interlocked. I think if I every had someone to give this to ( X-( ) I'd probably try making it.
Somewhere in the photo files I have pics of one I bought and sold years ago. Once the thrill of the buy wore off I started to inspect the case.
The case actually looked to me like a badly made prop, things did not fit properly and the talc tin was just plain poor.
The case is one of those props that you want to work exactly as you see it on screen, regardless of whether they had three different ones for different scenes.
At the time the price was pretty good from SD and it was a very good effort all round but hopefully now it can be rethought.
Bad luck on the lotto Gadget, can't believe you did not win after buying a ticket................
