That's been there for a while. Note the leather on the inside of the collar and the scalloped rather than straight back seam: not the screen version. I think this was the version Tom Ford was selling around the time QoS was released. They later went back to selling a version more like the one that appeared on screen. Danimal purchased one like that a few years ago: http://www.ajb007.co.uk/topic/36529/tom-ford-harrington-jacket/. I quite like this version of the jacket, although leather in the inside of the collar seems very impractical (and potentially sweaty).
Found this on Ebay if anyone's got a spare £1,500 they want to part with. Very nice Tom Ford take on the Y-3. Seller states this is the retail version of QOS jacket. original retail $4,250.
Keep in mind the TF Harrington is not a take on the Y-3. The Y-3 was a different jacket in the film, used during the Haiti scenes. It was a black, collared jacket with a hidden tab, and an elastic waistband. The TF jacket was a midnight blue, harrington-style jacket used during the film's finale at the Perla de las Dunas scenes.
Tom Ford came out with a Harrington one season after "QoS" that was almost identical to the version used in the film, with the only exception being the leather detail around the pockets. But TF corrected the back seam and removed the leather detail on the inside of the collar. It was also produced in a midnight blue, identical to the color of the "QoS" jacket.
And sitting on the rack at the TF boutique (taken with a low-res camera under terrible lighting though) -
Yes, it was $2,499 US. And I agree, the leather trim around the pockets is a nice detail, and it separates this piece from other Harringtons as it's unique to Tom Ford.
I happen to wear an 11UK in some footwear and I take offense at your remark. I have a wide foot and they are snow shoes, not water skis, thank you very much. :v
But if they really run big enough to be a 12UK (13US) then, yeah, water ski.

I bought this to convert to a short sleeve with epaulettes, but it is too small for me. Medium but Diesel slim fit so more like a Small.
Material is quite unique with a nice large collar. Not seen any other shirt with material this similar to the original CR shirt.
I've listed it back on eBay selling for £12 with free postage within UK.
