The beauty of eBay my dear Fleming fanatics is there is a 'make an offer' button
So if the price is not palatable - you are able to make an offer
    It's really quite simple :p

    The banter was fun
But I'll leave it to the words of someone wiser that all of us:

M: This isn't a personal vendetta, 007. It's an assignment, like any other. And if you can't treat it as such, coldly and objectively, 008 can replace you.

    Enjoy the forthcoming movie

But I'd rather have a number that ended in '007' and look a bit of a knob than tell someone my number was '07jamesbond' and look a complete tw@t :D

Fluent. perhaps, but not affluent. :(

Over on the Bay, a JV jacket size Large sold for full retail+ NY sales tax (US$875) earlier today. Amazed to only see two jackets turn up so far.

Pmsl laughing on the train into work :)) :))

Can you imagine giving a lady your number 07jamesbond and them having to work it out when they want to ring you?

[starts to dial number] " 07... Ok... J.. Now that's 4 on a keypad isn't it... No it's 5... Or 4.... This is different to my Sky remote.... Oh I give up." :))

I love these threads. To be honest I think most of us would be surprised by the fact that someone will buy this number, not because it has anything to do with James Bond, but simply for the fact that the person selling it says it has something to do with James Bond. A fool and his money are soon parted and the fact that ebay can sell anything from a used pair of knickers to a rusty nail etc makes me think that some knob will buy this. Do I think it will be someone on this website, No !
Good luck with the sale though. I know you said goodbye but I suspect you are still here, lurking.
To be fair I have made the mistake of joining a forum before just to sell something and the result was as expected. Maybe the OP will come back a fully refreshed, somewhat battle weary, advocate of AJB and go onto to become a collector / poster. I hope so as this board needs as many bond fans as possible to get the most of out of it. Good luck.

Erm...if someone was interested where can they find those used knickers?

Haven't made any contributions to this thread for a while but I do check it out every day to see what's what and to see how people join this site just to try and sell their wares because they can't sell them anywhere else. Some of them really make me chuckle, but this phone number one had me in stitches. If anyone does buy this number at this price you might be interested in a wheelbarrow full of nail holes that I obtained from a carpenter off the Skyfall set, a bargain at £90.00 per hole, (min order of ten holes with a maximum of ten holes per customer). Or how about a genuine Jacobean typewriter similar to one used by the screenwriter of Sex Lives Of A Potatoe Man that was thrown into the same skip as the bits of the left over volcano set from You Only Live Twice.
Think I'll just stick with my EE issued phone number thanks.

Well my phone number is 07946728795 which if you play it backwards at half speed comes out as welcome aboard the disco volante, please show Mr Bond to his room. Also if you type in the digits onto your phone key pad whilst squinting a bit it a picture of Roger Moore appears in front of your eyes. If anyone wants it for £1000.00 its all yours. I love these posts as they also cheer up my otherwise dull working day. Must go, I have a call on my mobile from 0793675628 which as we all know is Miss Moneyfanny spelt backwards if you add a few numbers, take a few away and jummble them up a bit. Love it.

Wow! $1300 for a JV Racer? There's also a Medium listed for $2,000. Absurd.

That TF jacket is not the same model as the "QoS" jacket. There is an elastic panel on the back of that jacket at the waist, the pockets are not the same, and there are 2 buttons on the throat piece. Don't be fooled. It's like all of these other idiots on fleabay claiming they have one of the "QoS" or "Skyfall" ties when, in reality, all they have is a TF tie. Watch out for these dodgy sellers who claim they have a Bond item. Check with the good folks here before you spend your hard-earned money on s***t.

    Kind regards,
    Craig

This is why I'm not a big fan of replica's:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CORGI-James-Bond-E3004-OHMSS-Gift-Set-Outer-Box-/371393932685?hash=item5678cdad8d

There's a fair chance one of these might be passed off as the real thing in the future :#

    Hello.

Just a heads up I am selling my Tom Ford Markos on eBay. I know these are common, but I purchased them directly from the Tom Ford boutique and they are like new. So, if any one is interested let me know. You can either buy them on eBay or PM me.

Sensing a certain Spectre over my shoulder I’ve posted 24 lots at eBay this week, including one real or replica prop item from each of the 24 EON Bond films. I’ve also put on some rare posters and etc. at http://tinyurl.com/of549rd - cheers.

The first (?) official Spectre cast & crew giftset appeared on Ebay - and was withdrawn within no-time. The seller must have gotten cold feet or an offer he couldn't refuse...

Mind you: the sets are numbered, so Barbara and Michael might very well know whose set this is. :D
