There's not much of a difference between FRWL & YOLT is there?

I heard both movies were lighthearted versions of the books but From Russia with Love was probably more popular because the direction and the writing was of better quality.
"I admire your courage, Miss?..." "Trench, Sylvia Trench."

"I admire your luck, Mister?..." "Bond, James Bond."

Well, FRWL is more serious and somewhat like it's source. YOLT is completely different and goes into the ridiculuous. It is similar to TSWLM.

I did watch them...I just didn't read them that's all. I have nothing to compare these lighthearted films to.

Gee Jimmy, how about a third topic? This time the literary YOLT and DN.

You've also one on the books OHMSS and FRWL, http://www.ajb007.co.uk/topic/34594/do-you-think-frwl-ohmss-are-as-good-as-the-books-theyre-based-on/ (the latter repeated here)

The obvious answer to all these threads is to ..

    READ THEM!!!
