Lotus Evora in new James Bond Film?

I’m just on a skiing holiday now in Chamonix in the French and have seen loads of commotion around a film set. I watched an action stunt scene being filmed with tons of crews and papparazzi swarming! I especially noticed a flashy new Lotus Evora being used in the filming. Is there anyway that this could be for the new James Bond film? Seems like there could be quite a buzz about this. The Lotus is a beautiful car as well. I'm sure they're trying to keep the location under wraps but it is really exciting.

Not sure. No director has been named yet, at least not to my knowledge. Did you recognize anyone on the set? I did a little research and only found one thing (it was a quick search). Clint Eastwood is filming a new movie and some of it is being or has been filmed in Chamonix. The article is from Oct '09.

It sounds like the filming in that area is done for the movie though. I could be wrong.

Although I'm sure the next film will use either a V12 vantage or One-77 clone over the DBS for Bond's next set of wheels, in the current economic climate a Lotus Evora seems a more realistic option for MI6... )

To my knowledge, no filming on Bond 23 is going on yet. Daniel Craig is filming a movie called Dream House, and MGM is still sorting up their money problems. As for a Lotus appearing in the next film, it is too soon to tell. Also Eon seems to want to keep Aston Martin liked with James Bond since the last three movies have featured them. I would think that Bond will drive an Aston Martin again in the 23th film.

The evora does look great and i think would fit DC's bond far better that a DBS

Though this is not pictures from the next bond film (do they even have a script or director yet?) it cant help to fantasise!

Yes, very FYEO. Looks cool, I'd definitely go along with that, having been brought up as a Lotus fan since I was about 4 years old.
