    The character was written as Anya Amasova, from TSWLM, but when Barbara Bach was unavailable/declined the role (take your pick) changes were made.

    I never knew that; kinda glad it didn't happen...
    As I understand it Maud Adams was a "bystander" in the scene at the San Fran fishing quay... I think one old Bond Bird is more than enough....

    Wow. I never knew that Anya was supposed to make another appearance. That would have been interesting, but thankfully wasn't included in AVTAK. So many parts of that film are painful to watch-yet why do I keep watching it year after year? You know...Mr. Bond you got a really great way of staying alive...even though..i nearly kill you every five minutes...Being the psychotic genius i am...i gotta find some way to kill you and make it entertaining...

    It is a poor bond film prob the worst in my opinion. And Moore just looked so old it was stupid for the production team to let hi do it. Cool deleted scene though...

    The woman who played pola should have been the lead instead of tanya roberts, who did seem a weak actress.
