    So then, this is my first vote for today. Maybe we could all label our votes? Eg, write "My first vote for today/My second vote for today" at the top etc. That may be a good way to determine how many times people are voting per day.

    Anyway, here's my first vote for today.

    Without sounding pedantic BUT Jarvio, when you voted yesterday - you actually voted at 00:23 (but counted it as the day before's vote) - but technically it is ANOTHER day..... so you did actually vote 3 times. If it's past MIDNIGHT then really you have to count that vote as the FIRST one for that day.

    I'm not that bothered - as you only voted once the day before - but where do we draw the line?

    So can we say after midnight site clock time 00:00 onwards.... - NEW day? Yes? ;)

    Thanks -{

    now, lay off Chris Cornell :)) :))

    As I said, at that particular time my last 4 votes were:
    Yesterday 17:09
    Yesterday 23:23
    Today 13:12
    Today 15:36

    That's what it said on my site clock. I believe you - it must have displayed it as another day on your site clock. Although on mine, it said 2 votes one day and 2 votes another day.

    I'm not quite sure what else to suggest, other than I will try my best to stay away from voting around midnight-ish, and vote during the afternoons instead, so that it's less likely to cross over to another day.

    No worries anyway.

    I don't think you have changed your clock then to BST - so you are an hour out..... you are based in the UK right? On my UK time, it was 00:23 - I really don't want to make a big deal about it, BUT it's these little details that can cause probs.

    To change your clock to BST go to 'My Profile' then choose 'Settings', and make sure the daylight savings box is ticked.... then SAVE the changes at the bottom....

    That then should clear up any future issues -{

    I had a spot of bother with SirMiles regarding this a few weeks back. We should all be on GMT correct? That way we all have the same site clock as we vote on this topic.

    I sure hope it won't be shut down...that would be quite the let down over a simple bit of confusion SirMiles. Let's not take it too far.

    It wasn't ME you had the 'bother' with...just the rules. I'm sorry if you felt offended, that wasn't my intention at all.
    Well...I'm not convinced it's a 'simple bit of confusion'.....but if you don't mind people playing that 'bend' the rules, then thats fine by me....this could well be the last game played though...and that is a shame...

    And as for Jarvio's idea to label your votes...?...well, that clearly doesn't work as this discussion proves....he's been doing that since last time he did it and we are back at where we started :s

    I'd rather leave this thread as is - for now - and I'd be happy to discuss/hear any thoughts about this via the PM system....thank you.

    Right, I've just done that. Didn't know about the daylight settings box, but now it is ticked so hopefully that is sorted now, and hopefully no more problems from me. Thanks for letting me know.

    At the very begining of the game, I thought my clock settings were already set to the settings everybody would use. I just wrongly assumed. So yes, I have now ticked the daylight box and all should be well (hopefully)

    There's no point closing this thread at such a late stage in the game. I will however be looking forward to the rest after this game is done :#

    Sir Miles, it really is a 'simple bit of confusion'. I don't know why you think I've been trying to bend the rules. Especially considering that this has literally only happend once/twice from me? A 'simple bit of confusion' would be the perfect way to describe this.

    But yes, now that I have ticked the daylight box, hopefully I should have the same site clock as the rest of you. Hopefully now we can carry on the game again. -{

    Sir Miles, it really is a 'simple bit of confusion'. I don't know why you think I've been trying to bend the rules. Especially considering that this has literally only happend once/twice from me? A 'simple bit of confusion' would be the perfect way to describe this.

    But yes, now that I have ticked the daylight box, hopefully I should have the same site clock as the rest of you. Hopefully now we can carry on the game again. -{

    Well, I'm not convinced that you 'simply get confused' by telling the time....but you do make an excellent case for it....and you have already used that 'excuse' once before....

    Out of my three latest votes, the last two of them said 'today' whilst the first vote said 'yesterday'. As I've been going by the site clock... so I was under the impression that I stuck to the rules? It all depends on what timezone we're all using. Can be very confusing!

    And the game isn't in it's latter stages at all....and the result is now corrupt anyway....

    That's it. I'm out of this game.

    It really should be obvious to everybody here that the site clock was the issue, and it really should be obvious to everyone that I didn't intend to break the rules! This was a good game. I made one simple mistake by not having a daylight box ticked, putting me 1 hour out. And guess what? Sir Miles doesn't believe me, but instead accuses me of intentionally cheating in my own game! I've tried to keep my cool by explaining what happened, but now Sir Miles just thinks I'm making up excuses. There's nothing else that I can do or say about this that hasn't already been said. I resign from the game.

    If this game does stay open, then I hope the remaining players continue to enjoy it.

    Sorry about that Jarvio. Thanks for putting it together in the first place. I do indeed hope it stays open.

    I will do my best to enjoy it for the both of us. ;)
