HELP with computer-screen problem

I was wondering if anyone knew what was the name of the problem my computer has?

Obviously it's a pixelation error, but I don't know the correct term.
My monitor has the same issue, but it's confined to a 1 pixel dot on the middle left-hand side.
If your monitor is under warrantee then I'm sure it can be replaced for free, otherwise I think you may just have to get a new one, sorry.
