It would be nice if some of you guys could post pictures of the parts. Something like this I found on another forum but for every issue to date:

I'm afraid it's all standard stuff...
But I do like the mods that have been posted.
That's what the forum should be about...!

I don't know if this site has been mentioned before, but they have some very nice hi-res photos of one of the original cars for reference:

Never posted on here before and it's not good news. I have packed a box of all the items I have received so far (mostly damaged !) and sent back to Ringwood for a full refund, and given it up as a bad job. Shame really, could have been a good item. Nobody seems bothered when you contact them, but I suppose that is par for the course these days.

this happened to me when working on a mini, the burn from the hot cylinder head was horrific, but not as hard to deal with as explaining it to the doctor. :o

I don’t know who you have been dealing with, but I had a problem with my continued subscription, I posted my dismay on here, a fellow reader gave me an email address to send my problem to, I got a instant reply & my problem has been solved totally & I’m back in line with everyone else!
Also, a spokesperson for GE Fabbri reads these forums; he too contacted me straight away.
You cannot beat that for service.

I agree totally with spencer50 I too had problems and posted on here got an reply from "G E Fabbri" from their Manager. "theenglishman" If you have had problems then why did you not ask to speak to a manager at Database Factory! Simple! They are totally helpful and friendly and take comments onboard. Again up to date with everything. Have had problems but when phoning / emailing they are behind the customer on any damage. You are hard pressed to beat their service.

Hello spencer 50 I have made several attemptys by email to no evail, asking for parts and magazines to be replaced, which were damaged in the post, nothing received back to date. I spoke to a guy called Robert, told him what theproblem was, who was about as interested as the manin the moon, and to confirm that my Debit card payments would be cancelled, nothing back to date. This was the main reason I decided to pack a parcel and let them have it all back. Guess what, no contact to say they have received the parcel. I would at least expect a reply to one of my gripes.
If there is a man from GE Fabbri who looks in at this forum, he has yet to make contact.:(

Hi guys, havnt posted on here for a while, but read it everyday.

After lots of phone calls & emails, I've received nothing since last year, only lots of polite promises about where & when.
Really fed up with all it now. I'm going to quit & bin the few bits I did receive last year If I don't get something in the post before the end of March. I've never known such a farce, seeing as they had about 8 months to get it right & sorted since the trial launch. Reading some of your comments makes me realize, at least I'm not the only one. Here's hoping some one at GE pulls their finger out.
    Rant done.

Could I have the stuff you are going to bin? :#

Unfortunately for you, I've been sorted out completely, & I shall be keeping my parts now.
I would sugest anyone else having major problems, send an email to this address...

ingridh@dbfactory.co.uk - (Ingrid Henstone Head of Customer Experience)

This lady certainly sorted me out! Nothing was too much trouble.

Has anyone got an original copy of No4 magazine (The bonnet) from the trial subscription they are willing to sell me?
I've had my missing part replaced, but as the order was slightly different, I've now got 2 No3's & 2 No5's.

PM me if any one has please.
    Ta.

I wish I had as good a response from Ge Fabrri as there is from forum members, who are the only people who have the decency to reply !! Thanks to you guys who have responded. All the very best with your builds.

I emailed them about my missing screwbox, and it's finally arrived. Took 19 days after the email though, but happy now :)

Has anyone else *not* yet received issues 8 onwards?

Several people seem to have got their on the 7th, but I've yet to see mine.

My only account info seems out of date; no sign of issue 8 being sent, and even the issues 4--7 bit---which I have received---isn't fully updated. And only one payment shown, for the first issue.

    Odd... Is it just me?

i too had wondered what was happening with my subscription, but when i returned home from uni today there was a parcel waiting for me with issues 8-11, the components and the magazine folder. i have to admit that given that i subscribed last year, it has been a bit hap-hazard with deliveries and i have to ebay a few replacement parts, as even though i was on board from the off, they failed to forward on some bits which were "out of print" on the first run. fabbri also took it to be that i had subscribed from issue 8?!

hopefully things will improve with consistency of deliveries now that the magazine has passed issue 8 etc
im also hoping my bond car collection bondola and ford bronco are somewhere in the postal service, as they too have not yet materialised

Because issue 7 was free for the test run subscribers.

i still have no idea what ive paid for and what is free - that mysubscriptionhelp.com website is useless.

i have now emailed GE 4 times and still no reply - so i have today tried the ingridh@dbfactory.co.uk address - no reply yet tho.

think i'll wait until untill the end of March and if still no reply i'll cancel my subscription !!

    Hi there,

Had a really strange experience today... Some of you may remember that I had asked GE Fabbri on this thread about release of this series on Australia and was told it had not been decided. Then I emailed Bissett Mags and got a reply, only a few weeks ago, saying that they were not aware of this series and that there would be TV advertising if they were to do it. Today I went to a shopping centre in Prospect, SA, and the newsagent there had a whole pile of issue 1 for $4.99!

I looked up Bissett Mags website, and this series appears to have just been listed (although most of the website is not working anyway). I wonder if it's not only a test run to see how many people will be interested. The subscription booklet asks you to go to the www.007db5.com website to subscribe (though there are other options), but when you try, there is no option to subscribe outside UK/Ireland. It seems to be considerably more expensive here than the UK - $19.99 per issue (except the first two, which are cheaper).

Have you seen this on sale anywhere else in Australia? How about other countries apart from the UK and Ireland?
