I thought this as well. Another similarity I found with both films is Bond having trouble in an air-bound vehicle during the pre-credits sequence.

A lot of ideas get recycled in the Bond movies . . . how many times have we seen the variation on the Goldfinger car, and how many times can James Bond be chased on skis?

I remember seeing a video of some top extreme skiers,Skiing over bridges and down steps even using the handrail in the middle to jump on and off. acroos roads in to carparks etc. and alway thought this would liven up a Ski chaes, Although I'll admit it has more of the feel of the Moore Bonds than Craigs.
