I too live in Houston. Hopefully we will get these before Thanksgiving. Also, they haven't charged my credit card yet so I guess they aren't sticking with the plan to collect full payment before shipping?

They charged mine - pending right now, but its charged.

For those in the UK or Europe who consider buying from play.com - the GG is no longer listed ...

An hour ago I was about to order one but:

"To order a product for delivery outside of the UK, you will need to change the currency on the Play.com website from sterling to Euros. Remember delivery is still FREE outside of the UK."

Once you changed to Euros the price changed from £299.99 to 419.99 € - while the current exchange rate for £300 would be ca. 350 Euros. So, delivery is FREE but currency conversion would have cost 70 Euros ...

    We'll always have Ebay.

Got shipping confirmation today! I have no problems with FE and the way they have handled the issues that have come up during this production. While I certainly appreciate those who are disappointed with the shipping issues and play.com, it does not matter to me if I am the first to recieve my order-as long as I am one of the lucky ones to get my hands on one of these...In the future, no one will care WHEN you got yours, only that you got one! Give FE a chance to keep putting out products that we all will want to add to our collections and hopefully they will continue to put out high quality Bond items for collectors!!!

Well I ordered off Play .Com yesterday and was worried after reading F.E's last post on here that they would not be able supply as advertised. I have been dreading and expecting since yesterday an email to say sorry your order canceled. But I am very very happy to report the email says "your item has been posted"
next week could be very good
    :D

I wouldn't count on it. I'm sure once a live representative actually receives your order Monday morning they will probably cancel it.

Lucky all who have received their GG's.

I was amongst the first half a dozen or so to order directly, and my card hasn't even been charged yet.

A little disappointed I must say.

I ordered mine just over a few months back as I really wasn't sure about product quality and had read about the delays so it didn't quite convince me - eventually i decided to get the SE GG and placed my pre-order.

Having that said - i'm not one of those who placed their pre-order on June 18th, so I guess i'm expecting my item(s)
    arriving next year :)) :))

And I can Yell as much as i like and be disappointed, angry because of the screw ups and delays,
but that won't bring me any closer to the product(s) where i'm standing at this moment ;)

    But that doesn't mean i'm chilled....yet :v :D

OK after a weekend in Germany my first disappointment has gone… however the only complaint i have now is that i saw Barry (FE) online several times during the evening were it was posted that Play.com had shipped GG… He was online then offline the online..before he posted… I would have like that he asap had posted, that he now would investigate the whole episode etc instead of login online - offline etc..
I also think this is a learning process and I think and hope that FE has leaned how to handle the hard core bond freaks on this board…

Well then i'll have icy cocker in my pants and then it's jamming all the time,
however i could then ask some help from my wife to my "battle wounds" :v :))

I've still got my FE order (#132) but I wanted it for my 40th in December and I was getting concerned about the length of time it may take to get to me. That's the main reason for me looking at play.
