    He he...well, the solex was a gift from a friend here on the board that does some fun "artistic" interpretations of things...that happens to be one of them....Accurate? No. Fun and sentimental? Yep.

    I just wanted to mention that FE has some of the best customer service I've ever encountered. Issues happened with my bank account (bills and such.. y'know. that whole growing up and being an adult thing), and Tom is just being fantastic with me.

    And David – That is the hole point – right we might make some jokes but non of us have anything that just looks like a Solex… and you are happy for it… soooo -{

    Have you heard some rumors Dave :v :D

    Well, that could possibly mean LE GG's won't reach all their destinations before Christmas :s

    Don't panic....I received an email from Tom when I asked him where my LE email was (as I ordered an LE to keep in my office at work) and he mentioned that the LEs were being shipped mid upcoming month....that might not be the case for everyone...

    I have a manufacturer defect on mine. The hole in the cigarette case where the cufflink screws into was drilled a lot farther down the piece than it is supposed to be, so the cigarette case's trigger hole does not line up with the lighter's hole making it where I can't fully assemble the gun :( Also, when I actually do attach the case and lighter, they aren't lined up correctly; it looks like one is bent towards the side or something (probably the case). Anyways, I've already arranged for a replacement, but has anybody else encountered similar issues?

    Thanks for sharing the pics, Kan :007)

    Little off topic, but what Fabergé book is at the backround ?

    Its a huge Faberge box - anyway, I just grabbed what I had near by for my quick photo shoot.
    I need some dull backdrop to hi-light the Golden Gun that's all - nothing special :)

    Hi Kan…

    Very very nice – wonder how you would compare it to the SD version – just to have a different opinion to David…

    I can't believe it, gun arrived today, gutted to see my box is also damaged but decided to check the contents just to make sure there was no further damage, all good, but then the great bit..............SE Number 007, yes unless someone is playing a horrible trick on me I have the most specialist of the special editions.

    Please FQB, tell me it is possible that this is true!!!

    Yeah nice one Tex, of course I'll pop it in the post today!

    I've just realised it's also showing 007 of 430 on the brown cardboard outer box (why 430?!)

    I'll try and get some photos in daylight as the flash is just bouncing off the metal surface.

    I can't see any markings on the gun itself.
