Good link - there's some of the little lead soldiers in there too from TLD - there's a separate thread on here about those.

I'd pay £80 in a heartbeat for a good one; these are scarce and highly sought after.

Btw: love the Zeon wall clock too, never knew they issued one. Shame it's a 2005 page :D

Depends how deep your pocket is i suppose i however cannot afford that for waht it really is.
Specially as when it first came out you could get them for less than a tenner..

I know some old pieces of papers - those stamps you put on envelop - cost a ton more than this - and the face values of those stamps are nothing too :v

Spot on ! The Gilbert toys (as well as other 007 memorabilia) were affordable as well in the 60's; now try and pay for a mint, sealed example.

I think you guys are missing the point clearly you got more money than sense 80 - £100 for a keyfinder i think is Ludicrous. Not all of us are gonna be managering directors or managers with well paid jobs!

Think of it like this, when SD brought out their range there was no way in this world that I could have afforded to jump on the wagon. Now FE are bringing out their stuff I'm all over them like a rash. I'm not on the silver spoon highway, but as life goes on you normally have more disposable income to play with, which is why I'll probably be single again soon (see, another cash saving) for spending too much on Bond goodies. £100 for a Philips Keyfinder .... yes please. Also remember that generally the price of vintage prop pieces only goes up, may not be as good an investment as gold but rises none the less. I can only afford repros, but there are those amongst us that have the real deals ie screen used.

Sense is in the eye of the collector and very relative to ones present circumstances.

Iv'e ordered the golden gun as i think thats worth the money and people can see its worth, breaking down display box, bullets and nice display box. The keyfinder though i much want it thats all it is a keyfinder that bleeps that isn't even like the one from the film in respect got diff lcd screen where clock is and without the universal lock pick. Having said that im sure Ed will come up with one soon for a much more reasonable price.
I see your point about having vintage props and it being in its blister pack, if i had much money to buy all these little things i would not hesitate!

CJ, they are poop anyway mate, as you say nothing like the real thing, I'm sure someone will bring one out before long and much better quality :D

    Congrats on your purchase -{

missing the point? ..... well, all I can say you are very new to the hobby or collecting 007
Give it a few years and you will understand
You do not see the value in this piece yet - but let me tell you this - you can always buy the FE stuffs, but this key ring is a lot tougher to come by - £100 is cheap. A reproduction will not cost this much and will not be as collectible. Newbie to the hobby can have that.

I'm no newbie though :s and I see why people want it, but I personally don't want one because they look to much like a toy :v

Wasn't directing at you my friend. You are no newbie - I know better.
But collecting is very personal -its like how some prefer blonde or brunette :))

Just because i don't want to spend 100 quid on something that is essentialy a 5 pound keyfinder. Like i said i know whats worth the money to me 'the golden gun' for instance. If i had a well paid job i wouldn't be worried about the price to much, like i said before..

Regardless if you're a newbie in collecting or do not have funds or in any case refuse to pay that much for the keychain prop, it is still a great price, if i had the funds i would jump on it. too many props so little money.:#

I used to own few of these back at the late 80's,

but unfortunately at the time i was thinking about the key finders as nice toys

and nice key chain with my home keys on it.

Well what would you expect from 9 years old to do with key finder...eh...store it in the glass cabinet?? or perhaps in the safe :)

Anyway, i gave the other one to a good friend of mine. And you know what?? He still has it sealed in that god damn blister!! :D

He's not into bond collecting, but he has a large collection of key chains from all over the world.
    :007)

But as Kan said, collecting is very personal....for someone the key finder is just a "not screen accurate piece of plastic without locpick" ...and for someone it's a very unique and valuable piece of bond memory.

    CJ, nice find :)

But in case, if i had one sealed in the blister,
i wouldn't modify it to be a screen accurate one.

    But just that's me :)
