Favorite track (e.g. besides the main themes)?

A few of mine;

"Tresspassers Will Be Eaten," from Live and Let Die
"Drive in the Country" and "Runaway" from For Your Eyes Only
Necros' theme from The Living Daylights
"Whiteout" from Die Another Day
"African Rundown" from Casino Royale

(BTW, anyone know where I can get "Drive in the Country," "Runaway" and "Whiteout" without buying the whole albums? I usually get my music from ITunes)

  • Thank you. As i mentioned above, I hope I didn't offend anyone. It took about an hour and a half maybe. I kept coming up with new categories... I became a member very recently and it made me so happy to see all the discussions about music in here. Many people don't seem to care about movie scores anymore. I've met several people who claim that it takes the realism away. :# Too many are way too critical nowadays. Maybe it is because everything has been seen before I don't know. But I love movie music. Especially when it is melodic and unique like the Bond soundtracks, and they are not melodic and unique anymore and it isn't David Arnolds fault... At least I don't think so. It is the time. I don't know about you but most movies that come out now I don't even wanna see. I am patiently waiting for MGM to pull themselves together and make a new Bond movie. Hopefully with a great score. :D

For you all who like James Bond related music:

We have had dealt with many Bond fans over the years and we are sure they
would be interested in the following information. The record label is also putting
up links to the best Bond sites and wanted to know if you want one.

A few years ago Bond fans were singing the praises of the band ‘Psykick
    Holiday’……..WHY?
As Bond fans, FLR released the ltd edition album ‘The Themes Bond…James Bond’
    (The alternative Bond themes)
This album had many stand out tracks including the No.1 hit ‘You only live
twice’ by Eleanor Rigby. Million selling hit band The Honeycombs last ever
recording ‘Live and let Die’ & Moonraker by Joan Martin (Which Barry himself
liked a lot) It also featured indie acts Mouse & The Editors

However many said the stand out tracks were ‘The James Bond Theme’ & ‘A view
to a Kill’ by Psykick Holiday.
The later, a Goldfinger style rendition of Duran Duran’s Bond theme was even
called one of the best Bond covers ever.
This was borne out in it becoming a best selling download at itunes.
Quite a few Bond fans wrote in asking if ‘Psykick Holiday’ was going to release an
original material. At the time they couldn’t give an answer.
The good news is Psykick Holidays debut album ‘Forever Pop Noir’ is now out on
CD at record shops and mail order and download.
Their pop noir filmic feel has been called a cross between Ennio Morricone, John
Barry, The Doors, Nancy Sinatra and Goldfrapp.

Some reviewers have even said some tracks could be future Bond themes.

We would very much appreciate it if you could put the following information on
your website or in your fan magazine this album or at least checking it out.
To acquire the album visit http://futurelegendrecords.com and then go to Psykick
    Holiday page in artists.
If you want to hear the album first visit http://www.myspace.com/psykickholiday

You can place your order by emailing futurelegend2000@yahoo.co.uk
If people mention you are a Bond fan they get the CD album 20% cheaper than

    Amen to that.

Personally, a pet peeve of mine is that they haven't used the Bond theme in the course of the last two movies (only for the end credits). I could understand why they didn't do it in Casino Royale because the whole point of the film is that he hasn't become the James Bond we know yet. But they should have started using it again in QOS. It's a good theme, damn it.

Dalton on hill really should have Flight to Blofeld's Hideout (or what have you) in OHMSS for Landsacpe section, it's lovely that said maybe best with picture as it is a bit repetitive musically on the Remastered album.

I have to agree Blackleiter (Surrender) is great and IMHO Sounds more like a Bond theme than what was used.
