Casino Royale Missed/Unknown Items and Props

I need some help finding/confirming some items in Casino Royale. I've checked here off and on and don't think anyone has found the items or confirmed the brands. I haven't seen them in any collections online or confirmed in press releases. So, rather than restart old threads, I thought I would start a new one for missed and unknown items.

First, Bond's second pair of swimtrunks in Casino Royale. A lady at La Perla told me that both swimtrunks were from their company. Yet, I don't know if I believe that. I've yet to find a person say that they have them. I'm not fond of the purplish detail but I'm still curious about the brand. Here's an image from another thread (I hope using it is ok).



Second, Bond's laptop bag. I mentioned this in another thread but no one confirmed that it was a simple Sony Vaio bag. This is another item I've yet to find online. I like the detailing on the bag and am curious about the interior. Here is a screen cap I made of the scene.



I was thinking about this Dunhill bag but it's a little too casual without the top handle like Bond's bag. Also, I would prefer a darker blue than the green interior. Although, the British do have a thing for the green color...

As far as I am aware, the trunks were in fact La Perla.

The bag is an ongoing search, but I did receive the latest Dunhill catalogue a few days ago and the style of some of the lap-top bags is very similar to the C/R bag...top quality leather and very classy yet understated.

Don't give up your searches though, its all part of the fun.

I need to get that Dunhill catalog. I usually just check the site. They used to have a few official stores but they closed them a while back.

Thanks. I'm still looking from time to time for the bag. Although Dunhill has a fairly new rubberized leather bag I might pickup. It's probably better than standard leather for Bond types...

I don't recognize such bag from Sony Vaio. I have the same laptop that Bond had on the boat and there wasn't such bag in the Vaio collection when I was looking for one, I'm pretty certain.

It was definately a Vaio as it was part of a large amount of props loaned to Omega along with the laptop, some more contents of the bag and Vespers bag and items. Whether it was an early proto or pre-production example I don't know, but it was a Vaio bag for sure.

I assume that you don't have any photos from that exhibition showing the bag along with the laptop?

Hmm, I remember seeing images of an Omega exhibition on MI6 I think. I'll check to see if there are pictures of the bag.

It's called the CCM2W, from Sony of course. Any ideas if this is the correct one?

doesn't look correct to me.

The lid is supposed to get slimmer, where it's attached to the bag and the one on your pic is straight....

Restarting the topic to see if anyone came across these items at the top of the post. I know many here are better detectives these days finding the brands almost immediately. Perhaps, these turned up on other topics and I just missed it.
