Why don't everyone who wants to meet up give there location. Then someone sort of triangulate the average miles so one person isn't travelling 100 mile and the other 10. I think also makes it fair!

I think that idea of a fan meet is great, distance is no problem, just need to know the schedule. Some sort of convention
or "summit" would be a great idea -{ Not only to drag a bag of props to somewhere, but have a nice time together
sometime have little "chit chat" etc. I don't think it would be difficult to arrange a meet like that, when it's well planned.
You guys at the UK know your country and me neither want to get in middle of central London ;)

Any thoughts of this multinational meeting?

Nothing wrong with our Great Capital :D in fact I love the place, wouldn't want to live there though :v

What are we expecting, everyone brings props ?, I dont mind bringing a few bits, but nothing major :p wouldn't want anything damaged :o
  • MANDY1MANDY1 TISPosts: 2,608MI6 Agent
I didn't meant that "drag a bag of props" literally, mate :D Could it be just considered as a fan meeting/convention,
so there's not too much pressure and concern regarding the props, they bring who can and want to etc.
There has to be much more than "just" props, some sort of activities maybe, good food, perhaps some theme etc.
It doesn't have to be nothing amazing, well usually when a bunch of people meet for the first time there's a lot of things to talk about...and in the end the whole bond theme suddenly disappears ;) well not completely, just my wild guessing how would it go...

As we are almost in November, are we putting off until next year? if not, I guess London is going to be the best place to get to for everyone, just have to choose the venue?

    Or start again next year.
  • MANDY1MANDY1 TISPosts: 2,608MI6 Agent
Next year...you mean of course spring time ;)
" in London April is a spring month, whereas in St. Petersburg we're freezing our butts off. Is that close enough for a Fan convention? " :D
