DAF World's Greatest Marches

Hi guys

In the interests of sharing, here is my latest little project. Lot of research, lot of work. I will be making these available in the future, but am now having problems sourcing the correct tapes. I am looking for unmarked White/Off White/Cream non-screw C-60 or C-C90 cassettes with the label indent having the lower corners rounded and the upper corners at 45 deg. Can anybody help here? Cases shouldn't be a problem. I intend to have the correct music on them as well.

GMP/ACH is Gadget Meister Props and my initials in case you were wondering, not screen seen though :))

GM went the "EXTRA" mile on this which makes it even more accurate than what we see onscreen. TOP MARKS on this one!!!

Kurt, I did all the same work you did years ago then Andy had the nerve to produce a much better and more accurate prop that blew mine out of the water!!!!!
Despite that he says it's his last one....anyone wanting this should not settle for anything less than the work Andy's done on this superlative replica.

    HA!

I'd read about the song played in the film via some Google Doc. online and knew the "Minutes" wasn't right and was trying to come up with something new right before I found this old thread.

I'm going to do a bit more tweaking and I guess it will be good enough for me at this point.

Although I'm sorry I missed out on Jill St. John. That's a shame!

Featuring Valerie Perrine ... who isn't in DAF!

This came up on eBay last year as an original prop; got the listing shut-down.

Richard Knight. They took it down almost immediately after I contacted them.
I know some people have issues with his listings but I think his stuff his generally legit; how that piece go into the mix -- especially considering how most of his listings are acquired (huge lots direct from studios) -- I don't know.

Sorry, but this is incorrect. I asked Perrine about it myself at an autograph show and she confirmed she is NOT in DAF; she knows IMDb lists her as such and she'd like it removed but doesn't know how to go about it. The woman often mistaken for Perinne is Pat Gill, who has herself recently started appearing at autograph shows.

Since this has come from the lady herself I stand corrected.
I think she is even mentioned in the DAF dvd special features?

That is very interesting. Thanks for the correction. I sold two of these pieces as fantasy props on eCray. I don't think I've ever sold to Richard Knight--it must have changed hands a few times and someone played telephone with it.
