what if dalton came back for 2012?

just a thought, what if dalton came back for a sixty years thing. I looked at a picture and he looks better then connery did in nsna. What do you think?

It would be great if that happened, i would love to see dalton return as bond but it wont happen in an eon movie, if kevin mcclory got to make his second thunderball remake 10/11 years ago it would most likely have started timothy dalton as bond. That would have been great

People can look good for their age. I was watching Marooned today and Gregory Peck did not look 53 by any means. However, that dosen't mean said person is in excellent physical condition. To have a 66 old Dalton as James Bond is as ridiculous as having a 53 year old. Any Bond actor should start between 35-40 and call it quits after three or four films providing they're two year intervals between each film.

Not gonna happen mate, no chance! The man doesn't like being associated with the Bond franchise these days.

I don't think he dis-likes being associated with Bond but he dosen't view Bond as the high point of his career. Frankly, any talented actor shouldn't.

Craig was the first Bond since Lazenby to start the role at an age younger than 44 (!). I agree, the next one should be in his thirties...

Timothy Dalton was 41 and Brosnan was 43. Not a great difference though.

That would be an absolute dream if they could convince Timothy Dalton to come back for one more. An absolute dream. The man looks very very good for someone of 64. It would never happen though, not saying the studio would never agree to it but I doubt they would and I dont think Dalton would want to do it again. I still think its a crying bloody shame he didnt do GoldenEye. Mind you that was Timothy's decision. And I may not like that but I have to respect it. I think if the legal battle hadnt happened in the early 1990s then Dalton would have made one around 1991 I believe. By April 1994 he just didnt want to do it anymore. A great shame.

Love Dalton…but not now… can only regret that PB took over and that there was the major delay between LTK an GE… Hopefully we are not in the same situation now.
