    i have heard the 'laser' is a standard scope, used when in normal light conditions, but tbh, i dont recognise it as a scope.

    im thinking its a laser red dot unit, but if you were a sniper, why would you want to advertise to your target that you're about to shoot them (like the cigar girl in the pts of TWINE)

    :)) Very good point there mate and for that distance in TLD, why would Bond need a spotter and so damn heavy rifle :o :D

    true, with a rifle like that, and all that gear, he could've made strawberry jam of them!

    lol, i guess we'll never know the reason for bond using all that gear, it was saunder's choice anyway, and well, section 26, paragraph 5 old chap.

    :D Steel tipped bullet fired from WA2000 would have pierced the rifle held by Kara Milovy and herself :v
    I guess they just wanted to choose Bond very special weapon as Walther stopped manufacturing WA2000's in 1988.

    I don't display them yet. Like I said, I haven't got a clue where to put them all. They are all in their original packaging and although I'd rather take em out, I'm not sure if I should as long as I haven't got a place to put them.

    Few weeks ago finally decided to go for this one and Coronation Egg arrived on Monday.
    CoronationEgg.jpg

    I do know it's not screen accurate, but a very good and nice replica of the Coronation egg as seen in Octopussy -{

    And would like to point out that even without Bond connection, it's still a stunning piece ;)

    Yes. In the Ian Fleming novel CR Bond drinks TaIttinger with Vesper:
    “Yes, I would like champagne,” she said.
    With his finger on the page, Bond turned to the sommelier: “The Taittinger 45?”
    “A fine wine monsieur,” said the sommelier. “But if Monsieur will permit,” he pointed with his pencil, “the Brut Blanc de Blanc 1943 of the same marque is without equal.”
    Bond smiled. “So be it,” he said.

    and while having dinner with M at Blades in MR M refers to it as Bond's favourite champagne.

    It is just a simple Brut Reserve, but I still thought it would be nice to bring a bottle (or 2 :v).
