Nsna should have waited a couple of years

If nsna was made in 86 or 87 lois maxwell could have played moneypenny in it. It would have been great to have seen her and connery together again in a bond movie and i think not as many people would dislike the movie.

Well, probably no reason why she couldn't have been in it anyway, she only had one more film to go with EON. I don't know if they would have dropped her for her 'betrayal' I suspect they would have, but a bumper payday for NSNA would have sweetened things, as she was notoriously underpaid.

That said, she doesn't get much of a role in NSNA, they could have expanded it mind. It might have given the film an old folks home vibe. Legally they might have had to drop the character you know, in which case Maxwell would have burned her bridges for no reason. Generally NSNA would have been better in the late 80s from an action movie perspective but of course Connery was too old then...
