As for assembly, the gun is made from metal but I suspect it's a cheap alloy, zamak perhaps? So threads will be delicate. Carefully assemble your gun, take your time and don't force anything. Hold pieces loosely so the threads have chance to engage properly, do not try and force things, if it starts to get tight, stop.
You might want to give your trigger cufflink an extra half turn
