Would you have liked to have seem this second remake of thunderball in the late 90s with timothy dalton as Bond and sean connery as largo? I would.

It sounded like another piece of crap McClory was trying to cash in on.

Sony were backing it but sadly unlike jack schwartzman they didnt sick to it, fight eon and get the movie made.

If I could magic the film out of thin air and watch it now I would but it wouldn't have been one I'd have been itching to see at the time, not least because Connery would still have more Bond appeal than Dalton, who would never have gone back to the role to spite EON anyway. It's way too hypothetical.

I think I might! Not sure about Connery as a baddie. He was terrible in The Avengers. But then who wasn't?

Yeah that movie really sucked. Connery as a Bondish villian would have been an interesting concept though.

Jim Broadbent is never terrible, but that film certainly was.
