Painting well on its way, This coming week, hope to show
you all the finished project.

The reason the images are not showing is because I was
hosting them via Facebook, however due to this new,
timeline aspect coming in soon, something which I dont
trust, I have deleted all photos and albums, with the
intention of deleting account all together soon, and creating
a website based profile as opposed to a personal account,
which is why the images are not showing up any more, but
they were for some time and were viewed by all interested
parties, but thanks for pointing it out to me

Thanks Bud, :007) appreciated, thanks again for
pointing the vanishing photos, out to me - when you
are on a different site, going through deleting lots
of photos and albums, you just loose track of what,
where and when you linked photos

I will set up a new start to finish album, in new account
and you will all be able to see the painting from small
sketch work to finished painting, so should be interesting

Hi Guys... sorry there have been few updates on this project
over the past few months... wont go into too many details
but a lot went on in peoples privite lives which has held this
project up a little.... But I can safely say it will be released
soon.... got some nice updated photos... and stages to post
up.... hopefully get them up on here over the next few days

Once again Guys........ its on its way...... Have Faith :007) I
have...... on a scale of 1 - 10 being Finished, Its about 7.5 at
the moment ...... like I say will post up some updates real soon

Some nice updates coming soon... I am very Pissed off with both
myself and the artist for not keeping a running update of this
project... It will be finished as planned very soon.. will upload
photos ASAP... its on its way... needs a few details ironed out and
fixed.. but aside from that looking SWEET as...

Hopefully will be bringing you good news Soon.. and once again very
sorry for the lack of running updates on this one... to make up for it:
thinking of composing a little mini Sketch book to show the painting
from start to finish .. which will acompany the final painting

Ok guys its looking good and very promising - After having been out of
contact with the artist for a while I decided to drop by for a flying visit
since I was driving past his house, so stopped in, on the off chance he was
at home and he was working on the painting - I would say at the moment
its at 95% complete - And its looking fantastic The style he has done it in
was a gamble that paid off. He has also worked in some fantastic Casino
Atmosphere and background character Detail..... He went with some choices
I didn't agree with early on and felt wouldn't work overall...... But its paid off

recent drafts of parts of the final painting. The size of this is pretty Impressive
and its been done in a ''Widescreen'' Cinema Style layout.

Fez has asked me to express his apologies for not keeping in contact with
me, thus not keeping all you guys updated, a few Months back he got a work
contract with an events company and he has been away working on the road
at events and festivals. He has only been home some weekends and has only
had the chance to work on the painting when he has had some free time. He
said if it was only one of the Bond's it would have been done by now ) )
Recent SKYFALL stuff and 50th Anniversany Celebrations has inspired him to
focus more on it and get it finished - He said if it rolled onto next year it would
loose its appeal .... and I agree.

I had a meeting with a printer in the city today to decide on canvas / print material,
sizes, framing and mounting etc and ok scanning and file formats of a sample of the
painting to make sure all that will go ok when it comes to getting it processed and
transfered from the original to the printers

should have a Final Finished Painting to show on here within 2 weeks :007)

I have to admit ics the stage the painting is at just now has a vast
change in style its nothing like the early stages.... I will get some
current photos up this week once I get the 'OK' on a few things, from
the artist and printers etc.... Like I say the style is very much like his
early ''non - Bond'' artwork which I posted up when I created this

a cinema screen style outline around the entire artwork. Going to go for a Canvas
Pannel print framed up. May look into framed option depending on cost etc

This looks great mick. Have to say I've never doubted you, but it is a relief to actually see some daylight at the end of the tunnel.

There will be some comments on the scaling and facial representations (ESp dalton ) so brace...

Now did we agree about having the buyers "in the painting"??

Well I guess that is, what ART does. It evokes different opinions
and emotions, criticism, likes and dislikes, some who will like it,
some who wont... It wouldn't be a real painting if it didn't have
these elements about it....... It would be a Picture / Photo Still -
When I posted up samples of the Artists work when I created
The topic for this project it displayed some out of scale proportions
and odd styles here and there, I guess its just his style of painting
and art - its clear to see in the Jimmy Hendrix artworks I posted up.
But that doesn't mean its immune from criticism - FAR FROM IT

I am sure a group of us could walk into any art Gallery and find
paintings and artworks that some of us would praise and some
of us would say is a pointless piece and not see anything in it we
like.

Regarding the Buyers In the painting - I don't know who the buyers
are yet ) so it would be a 'mission impossible' to do that )

I am not the guy who has put paint to canvas / pen to paper: on
this project, But I feel all feedback and views, good, bad, praise
and criticism should be submitted to the artist after the unavailing
of the finished piece, as it is all relevant and he does welcome all
feedback on this.... It will be a one off, he is just too busy with his
day to day work and job to do something like this again. He has
stated several times that if it was just a painting of Connery, Moore,
Brosnan etc; it would have been finished long ago, This has ultimately
become a collection of paintings and studies in one large painting, with
attention to detail being focused on The Players at the table individually.
The table itself, Background Characters, Lighting, Smoke etc and its all
coming together nicely. He has enjoyed working on this and has become
a bigger Bond fan from starting this with research, watching films to get
a sense of location and scenery in the casinos, style of the classic films,
outfit styles and dress etc

All I have done with this is 'Nag' ) Him to finish it, Loaned him several
Reference books, piles of research and photos I have, from my own
collection. When I get the finished painting then I will have to get things
moving and do my Bit to make it a reality

I would honestly love to send one as a Gift to all The Actors who played
Bond to say thanks for 50 Years and send one to Michael & Barbara at
EON - Don't know how well that would go down ) ) )

Would any of them get their safe? Would Sean Connery throw his in a fire )
Would Dalton paint over His own Tux to make his into a Shakespearean style,
Would Brosnan take a pair of scissors and Cut Daniel Craig out of the Canvas?
Would Lazenby sell his at his next Public Collectors event Signing ) Good Old
Roger I am sure would be happy with it -{ :007) as would Mr. Craig

so should have more detailed info regarding cost and
ordering etc.

Could anyone on the Rollin List Above - please confirm
their interest so we can gauge the level of order etc
- Also I know there was quite a few only interested
depending on final artwork....So would be grand to know
what the opinions and views are of it and if any more or
any less interest :007) Thanks Everyone
