Not impressed that i had to download the Chris cornell casino royale tune 'you know my name' separately. How is it the casino royale theme tune is not even on the bleeding cd! Thats just poor, would you buy goldeneye and not have the goldenye theme song on it....

CD is same. Mr Cornell from memory in press at time decided he would rather have the song on his own latest album which came out at the time than have it on the soundtrack album.:s

I feel the same way. It's ridiculous. That's not the first time that something like that has happened on a soundtrack however. I have heard of other occasions where one record label owns the soundtrack and another owns the single - and ne'er the twain shall meet. You have to read the fine print very carefully on these things, but I still believe it's a rip-off and should be mandatory when the deal is negotiated.

I got round this problem by getting the 2008 version of The Best of Bond. It has all the film theme songs from FRWL, (The main James Bond theme filling the Dr No slot) through to CR. - Ok it meant forking out for a second CD, but in a way it worked out.

Thank God I didn't get stuck having to get a version with the awful QoS theme!
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

Well, the mix used in the film is far better than the mix that was released on CD, so this has never been an issue for me. Plus the song is far more effective with the film. It's a very average affair when separated from Kleinman's titles.

I'm happy with the CD just the way it is.

I dislike the song intensely. It's so bad it's unworthy of a Bond film. But I like the instrumental music by David Arnold and I prefer listening to his soundtrack without the interruption of that hideous song. In fact Arnold's soundtrack is probably the only thing I like about the movie. That and Kleinman's titles.
The top 7 Bond films: 1) Dr No. 2) From Russia With Love. 3) Thunderball. 4) On Her Majesty's Secret Service. 5) For Your Eyes Only. 6) The Living Daylights. 7) Licence to Kill.

I managed to locate the soundtrack on an Itunes variant, and was able to get the soundtrack with almost all music from the movie, over 40 tracks. That was awesome...i personally would have preferred to have the song with the soundtrack from the movie, in tradition of almost all other soundtracks.
