    It looks like we are hijacking Andy's topic, but then again

    wasn't it vintage Olivetti photocopy machine which Lazenby used at Gumbolds office ;)

    Yep it was an Olivetti, don't know the model number though. Have managed to decypher most of ESB original letter to Gumbold, difficult even in HD.

    Andy, you have OHMSS in HD?

    It was on TV here at the weekend in glorious HD, I now have it on my PVR along with other as yet unreleased ones from the series. {[]

    Andy has been ripping ITV 4 :D

    Haven't worked out a way of bypassing the HDCP yet Pete, otherwise you're right it would have been burned to BluRay already. Luckily I have a TB box so can have the whole series without even denting it, full of bloody adverts though. :#

    You should have had them off sky movies when they showed them, There is a way of bypassing the CP, I will ask :D

    BTW do you have a feed going to your PC?
  • Gadget MeisterGadget Meister Bicester, OxonPosts: 1,972MI6 Agent
    No but could jury rig one, surely if not HDMI though you'll lose the HD?
  • icsics Posts: 1,413MI6 Agent
    Well HD is hummmmmm a must and we all have our sources -{
  • danjaq_0ffdanjaq_0ff The SwampsPosts: 7,283MI6 Agent

    1080i so yeah I would say it's the best we can get at the moment until MGM pull their fingers out of their asses and give us full BluRay ......... next year for the 50th?

    Back on topic and just to muddy the waters a little, at the time of OHMSS, one of the national newspapers (a Sunday one I think) were offering OHMSS wedding rings as a prize in a competition. Don't remember any other details and it's one of those items that I never kept a cutting for.

    I think, regardless of your views of Lazenby or OHMSS, next to the SD Attache case a genuine (or genuine copy) two tone gold wedding ring must be the holy grail to all Bond collectors, I'm sure if we could lock the design down then it would pay us to commission a run by a goldsmith. What say you all?
  • HigginsHiggins GermanyPosts: 16,619MI6 Agent
    I am pretty sure, that I can provide the most skilled goldsmith on the continent and I am definitely in with a replica.

    But we need better pics, especially of the other side of the ring.
