Re-score never say never again

Back in the early 1990s there was a lot of talk about nsna being re-scored for an new vhs rerelease. Would this have improved the film ?

IMHO, Nothing could save NSNA. I know some love it,But until a Recent outing for Bond,It was My least favorite Bond Film. The Score is Terrible !, As Simple as That.

A new score would definitely have improved the film. Even better, a John Barry score! (I know, but a man can dream, can't he?)

Well, there is that bootleg copy with John Barry cues inserted over it. It oddly makes Fatima Blush's performance a lot better, while Brandauer suddenly seems very hammy. Still not a great movie though but the music does enhance one's enjoyment of any film, if the music's good of course.

I don't mind the score but the aerobics workout is a Wrath of Khan ear worm!

When Brandauer breaks Bassinger's boombox, I cheer every time. Yes there were good things musically from the 80s, but also the flipside.
