Its very apparent in the hospital scene with M in DAD. Especially when he says "partner" and "father".
Nothing negative about that, just an observation.

However, I think he usually tries to sound a bit american, for example his "what?" when Natalya requests euphemisms for bottom in the train in GE.
(e.g. "on" becomes "aahn")

In Bond it didn't sound quite so strong though maybe came up occasionally

Brosnan spent much of his teenage years in England and has spent most of his life in the USA, and his accent reflects that. Incidentally, my Dad was born and raised in County Wexford, has lived in England and worked in Norway for years and has known people from all over the globe, and his accent sounds surprisingly like Pierce's.
To the effect of:
"Which part of England did you say you were from? Your acccent's a bit muddled..."
That would explain Dalton's slip into northern in both his films. "Things were about to turn nasty..." Straight out of Corrie! )

Brosnan has a sort of James Mason type of Irishness, not Shane McGowan...

Okay, always thought Mason was Irish, guess it's cos of that Carol Reed thriller he did in which he played an Irish gunman on the run.

I thought he was putting it on when I first heard his 'Irish' accent..... it's never been consistant, so it just sounds fake to me....
