Now that sh*t is funny! You've got me laughing. A great big old guffaw!

So, what sharp little eyes you've got...wait till you get to my teeth.

Well have you put on weight since then or lost it? Your avatar makes you look a bit larger, if that's meant to be you... ?:) Oh, and cool shop, where is it? Or is it your basement? {[]

My thoughts exactly! Please enlighten us Mark. Particularly about your collection in the background. I see what looks like the literary golden gun (a gold Colt Single Action Army) on one of the book shelves. I also see a Corgi diecast poster too. Do tell.

Of course, Sir Miles had an ex-glrifriend Loo's name tattooed on his arm, but when she ditched him he decided to become a Bond fan and accomodate it that way...
NP and DG, yes, both pictures are of myself although a couple of years ago may be exagerating a little - have just tried finding where I posted the picture from, as I usually make some sort of reference as to when a picture was taken, have to look further.
NP, the odds are that I have put on weight since that picture was taken (just found it, April 1995, bit more than a couple), may well have been about 10 stone then, my avatar picture was taken by a BBC reporter a couple of years ago, when (as now) my weight is about 12 stone.
Both - the background is one end of my flat, set up for the shoot, another book shelf is where the display case is in the pic.
DG, yes, that is a "gold" Single Action Army Colt, a very cheap and basic kit from the 80s, coloured with "rub 'n' buff" but at the moment I'm still trying to work out which poster you think is Corgi, as I'm pretty sure (although I could be mistaken) I don't possess one.
As regards the Colt, heres me putting it to better use:

Taken in 1992 (I think).
The poster I'm referring to is behind you in the photo and features Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the Aston Martin DB5, what looks like the Batmobile, Lady Penelope's FAB1 and perhaps the Saint's P1800 Volvo among other vehicles. I know Dinky also did the FAB 1, but I don't think they did the '66 Batmobile.
Great picture, did you say goodnight Goodnight?

DG - gottcha, that's a Cars of The Stars Motor Museum poster, something to treasure now that it's no longer here.
And I got the date wrong again, recently found my press cuttings, the picture with Britt was 1995 - my memory is getting seriously muddled.

You did indeed! That requires at least one "oh snap"! Would love to see the full Cars of the Stars poster, since I'm a poster collector among other things. But only if it's readily available. If it's not, believe me, I understand.

Only the beady eyed know where I am.

Well done. If you squint you can see a picture of PB in the top left. To further the Bond connection the salesman I was talking to had the TND tie on.
How about this one? Where am I, where am I headed?
London. Heading for MI6 headquarters?
Im no stranger to London...
That is indeed an unfair advantage. Mi6 looks more impressive at night.
Too funny... )

and yes I do look a bit like Alister Crowley.
That's a better photo than the one they used on Crimewatch. Think I'll phone for the reward now...
