I used to have a 007 licence plate for my 1985 Austin London Cab that my father purchased for me as my first car. Sadly I no longer own the car as living in rual Maine it is not the most pratical car for winter driving and the engine died about two months into my ownership. I kept the plates though, as I loved driving the car even though it only ran for a short time.

Here is a picture of me that I didn't know was being taken whilst talking to a friend before going to a wedding in July, 2011.
It's funny because it looks posed, but it isn't!

Notice my car reg ... I think it's pretty clever to be honest lol.

I saw an Aston Martin DBS with plate 007 SPY for sale through a Aston Martin dealer last year - remembered thinking at the time what a poser (but of course how cool!)

Whole lot was only £110K if memory serves!

    Cheers

I have JOO 77, which I was left by my parents as it was their plate since the 1950s I think, on an old Z4. Sadly not a Z8!

I was tempted to respace it to J OO7 7 but thought it might be a bit naff ;%

I have been waiting patiently for it to be released, and was pretty happy to pick it up. And of course not that many know what it means anyway, so its a bit of an in joke. All good. :D

It is. I'm going with both the early and the late literary choice. -{ By coincidence, but there you go, life's full of them.

On one hand I wanna say "eeew a Bentley" but then again it's a very cool choice, the plate's a nice cherry on the continental shaped cake.

I think I really must be in the wrong game or should buy more lotto tickets.

Can we have a go in your Bentley?

    Go on...can we?????

Ex Pat, absolutely awesome car, a couple of years ago we were sitting around a pool sipping some beers and the question came up what would be our ultimate car.

Well mine was the bentley, looks great (given) but performs, can take luggage, the occasional rear passenger etc etc. I've had a few flash cars but might one day get me one of those them there bentley things.

    Awesome car................ kudos -{

Truth be told, I just love the car. :x and the plate is a bit of fun.

I know its a bit footballer in the UK, and basketball/rap star in the US, but not with me in it. :))

-{ Thank you thats very kind of you.

You wouldn't be disappointed. As wonderful as it looks (to me), and even with all the luxury inside, the best bit is still the drive. Sublime suspension, stonking engine, huge brakes. Its a rocketship, despite being big boned. :))

On my way home from work the other day (after just briefly glancing at this thread) I saw a car with a plate that read "ILOVEJB" :)) I've got another friend that I've met from the Tiki culture community who's also into JB and his car plate reads "TIKI007"

I used to have DBL OH7 on my silver Aston Martin DB5. My girlfriend got it for me. The license, not the car.
