After seeing that title about a photos of of active members of AJB. I was just wondering what Country some of the members are from? You might say if it has anything to do with Bond. Well, I live in probably the most unBondian country ever. New Zealand, and know, i don't live in Christchurch

How can it sound like Merthyr Tydfil? There doesn't seem to be any music playing there.

BBC4 are showing a programme about her career next week.

Didn't Merthyr do backing vocals in the late 70's for the prog rock band "The late 70's"

She did, yeah, but they grew apart. She always had a more folk background, and I think she disapproved of their way of life on the road, pulling groupies and all that. Their manager always wanted her out apparently. It was their hit song 'Blow Me Sister Mary When You Kneel Down Like That' that proved to be the last straw.

Thanks for the info NP, I never knew why they split I always just assumed it was the normal second album difficulties. I did hear a rumor that she left over a very nast incident involving a bowl of semolina, David Bowie and some shares in a failed Pastas mill up north. Still I'll watch the documentary with added intrest now.

If you were to show that to young people today brought up on the xfactor they wouldn't appreciate it.

... all scandinavian countries are charging immense taxes on alcohol, so a sixpack of beer may cost 30% of the swedish price here in Germany.

That's the reason, why pictures similar to this are not uncommon in front of german supermarkets in the very north - but that one is extreme.

but how do you guys manage to get that alcohol thru the border?
I don't think, that the norwegian custom's will accept this.

There is a quota. The border is also very long, and there are many roads without a cusotoms station.

    Oh :o

Is this what you guys did to PAUL's tentacles ?

On 26 October 2010, Paul died in his aquarium in Germany. His remains were cremated and he was given a small burial plot within the grounds of the Oberhausen Sea Life Centre. A modest permanent shrine was erected.[54][55][56]

Btw in case you're confused Paul was English...!

Paul was originally said to have been hatched from an egg in January 2008 at the Sea Life Centre in Weymouth, Dorset, England, then moved to a tank at one of the chain's centres in Oberhausen, Germany

    RIP

I believe BT is taking this seriously ....

When asked to name a famous German, 50% of the sample named Paul the octopus....

Paul became very popular in his homeland when he correctly forecast his country would win games in the world cup....until he correctly forecast they would lose.... :#

The other guy who received 50% in the survey never admitted defeat...

However I realise I forgot to enter an exhibit..... So here goes..
