This is splendid news released by Ian Fleming Publications. The Gardner novels are to be reprinted, including the first five in hardback with original cover art by Richard Chopping, Bill Botten and Trevor Scobie!

I will definitely be picking up the hardbacks of Icebreaker, Role of Honour and Nobody Lives Forever as I don't have the first editions of these so they will be a nice addition to my collection. I am generally more interested in collecting editions based on the jacket designs so don't mind reprints and book club editions. I just hope they will be in the smaller size that the Bond hardbacks were published back then. I might also get some of the paperbacks as there are still a few titles that I don't own at all - I guess it depends what the covers look like otherwise I might just seek out some old paperbacks to fill the gaps in my collection.

I've also created a page where you can see all the books, release dates, links, etc.

I just saw the US covers. I'm starting to think there is a contest for who can design the worst cover. From the recent US hardcovers for the new books and now these. The UK versions are always the versions to get.
