Bring back Stana Katic (or else...)

The demure, mouth watering Canadian leak at the end of QoS, should be one of the continuity characters in Bond 23.....

Maybe even the female lead....

Or I boycott the film.... :v

Anyone would think Paul, that you have a bit of a crush on Stana..... (I mean, 3 pics of her scattered over ajb :)) )

Mind you, she is gorgeous.... and if they do use Canada for their location in the next Bond film... then it would be a good tie in!
(And no, not that kind of tie in :)) )

(wasn't her hair much shorter in QoS ?)

Is she 'age appropriate' ? Looks to wholesome to me. Can't we have one of those girls all our mothers warned us about?

Lexi are you (mentally) stalking me ? You seem to follow my every thought... :)

Actually I've hungered since i first saw that final scene of QoS...

And you obviously havnt seen Castle, where she plays the demure Kate Beckett ...

Set in my own back yard.....

They shot just down the road from my Office but I had back to backs so my hunger yearns unsatiated.... :#

Is castle available on uk tv? Tgt I'd seen Tracey talk about it? Could be wrong..

So while Canadian she lives in LA and if I had my way shed be placed under house arrest :D

Now zaphod, I know she looks like butter wouldn't, but if you google her career I think you'll find that most mothers would disapprove .. Just a little.. :p

She has some nice images on her site. I remember her from The Unit. However, her character in Quantum was like Vesper's. A person in a position that could be used by the Quantum Group. She wouldn't have the experience to tag along on a Bond mission.

No I haven't seen Castle - however as Tracey is in LA - I'm not sure her talking about it would mean it's on UK TV :)) ;)

However, we do get a lot of US shows, so I might keep an eye out.... we now have Sky Atlantic - so you never know, it might just end up on there!

Were you referring to me? :D I don't remember mentioning living in LA; I'll be moving out of this city in a few weeks right after graduation.

As far as I know Castle isn't broadcast on the UK, but if you have Netflix (is that available in the UK?) you can rent the first 2 seasons on DVD.

    Seconded.

Corrine owes Bond. And, besides, having an elegant Rachel Weisz and the sultry Stana Katic in one Bond flick would be divine.

I'm glad you've had a chance to visit this part of the world - the closest equivalent I've seen so far is the Welsh coast, though the water was warmer there :p. The Oregon coast further up north is quite beautiful, too, but there's something about San Francisco that makes me proud to be a Californian. AVTAK doesn't give it justice. (That, and an earthquake triggered in the particular fault cited wouldn't really affect Silicon Valley further south, but that's another story.)

California is my part of the world too now....and I know what you mean....ESP about San Fran an amazing city and Tracey, you're so right about AVTAK not doing either SF nor California justice!

But the plot isn't that crazy actually - at the time it was thought that the faultlines joined up in such a way that a sequence of quakes long the San Andreas would in fact cause the Californian shelf to break off and fall into the sea - some still think this....- but recent research is less convinced as the faults cris cross.

Yawwnnnnn....if you're still reading after the geology lesson ;% cartmel and big sur are truly breathtaking

It may be, that I have been asking in Morro Bay for MC and then went to Pismo which is also pretty nice.

But Morro Beach is a dream! I'll take you up on your offer as long as I don't have to sit in the customized Toyota of yours :v

That was a helpful lesson, ke02eww :) If anything, the Seattle/Pacific Northwest region is more prone to that kind of massive earthquake you described given that the Cascadia plate has been building up tension with the Pacific plate since the late 1700s. Unfortunately they don't seem to have the same building and safety codes that California does :#.

Yes, the parent of the orphan tsunami....The last cascadia quake.

In fact that fault has been active in the last 30 yrs, just not quakes- but volcanic...

the 1980 eruption of mt St Helens was pretty devastating .

I'm afraid I know mine all too well :)) One of my favorite classes as an undergrad was environmental science, and we did some site visits examining some of the fault lines around Southern California. Have you felt any of the small tremors within the past two years? I remember around this time last year in Los Angeles my whole apartment building wobbled...

That, and I'm about to move to Seattle at the end of the summer, and it struck me that I'm moving to someplace more earthquake prone than where I currently live 8-)

Yes, I visited my brother often - he was in the yacht racing circuit then - so we got to see a very glitzy side to the city - plus all the touristy bits - one of my favourites was Sausalito and of course a hike up Mount Tam :D

Drove with a girlfriend of mine - down highway 1 to San Diego - hence the visit to Carmel and Big Sur - an amazing experience - although San Diego was a bit of a let down.... ah well, can't have it all.

    Can't say I'm heading over that way anytime soon - my brother is now in Italy - much cheaper for me to visit - and you can't beat Italian Prosecco - -{

It would be great if they got Stana for the next Bond movie :)

I absolutely LOVE her in "Castle", when I started watching the series 2 years ago I realized that I remember Stana (or rather the character she played) from "Heroes", Hana Gitelman (aka Wireless Girl) was really cool character :)

Looking forward to Stana's next big screen projects - "For Lovers Only" movie with Polish Brothers premieres next month in USA and she's already shooting the next one directed by one of the twins - Michael Polish :)
