A friend of mine is having a 40th birthday at the end of the month, and she has asked us to name a track we want to have played from the 80's & 90's.
For the 80's I chose Duran Duran - Rio.
For the 90's it would have to be Madonna and Vogue.
So what would your dance tracks be?

The 80's is jam-packed with great tunes....the 90's less so....

Just to throw something different into the mix, I was something of an Old School goth, and the two most popular dance songs at goth clubs were "Temple of Love" by Sisters of Mercy and "Go!" by Tones on Tail.
Which leads into "Go" by Moby, my choice for 90s dance tune.

90s: What Is Love - Haddaway
That song Take Me Dancing Naked in the Rain, or Groovy Train, all these are early 90s.
Love Shack, B52s. Kylie's Better the Devil You Know or some such thing.
Not sure if all these tracks are danceable to, Two Tribes for instance. Happy Monday's Step On should be alright though, that kind of stuff. Jive Bunny, anyone?

I saw Frankie.... live back in the 80's....I vividly remember looking around the venue when they played this....all the aisles were full of people - very few in their seats (or even in the rows) - and ALL were dancing....mind you, that may have had something to do with what people had had before the gig

Liberty X were a band put together - from the rejects of the final qualifiers of 2001 show Popstars .... most famous for this track
