hello im relatively new to the james bond collecting ive been following the bondlifestyles on a budgets,(for casino and quantum) ive been putting together Bonds casual wear now im looking for the suiting and the only one i cant seem to figure out is the one worn when Bond and vesper arrive in montenegro and meet Mathis. I know he has a black or grey belted trench coat, is the suit charcoal or navy? i see they kept with the tonal striped shirt from the train but in blue and a navy tie but i cant tell the suit. And in the states does anyone know where to find the plaid pants worn at the ocean club casino? ive pretty much given up on the jack purcells i cant find them in my size anywhere even on ebay, has anyone found a suitable replacement?

From what I can tell, the Brioni suit appears to be navy blue, single-breasted, with a 3-roll-2 button closure and a single vent. The working/surgeon's cuffs have 4 buttons on each sleeve.

The shirt is actually a different one from the one worn in the previous scene on the train. The train shirt was a white-on-white stripe, whereas the Montenegro shirt is sky blue with light salmon-pink stripes. It had rounded French cuffs, which he wore with S.T. Dupont model 5172 diamond head square palladium cufflinks.

Anyways, this is just speculation based on my own observations & guesses. Matt S will definitely have much more detailed knowledge about the outfit.

thanks blu8 youve been very helpful i didnt see the pink in the shirt but i found A KENNETH COLE REACTION stripped shirt that fits the bill and i didnt notice the cuffs either

Yea, saw that a while back. I think the Wested version is the best alternative, albeit a fraction more expensive. -{
