Having just got a smart phone (finally ) ) I'm in the process of finding Apps for my phone, and just wondered what other's top 5 apps are...
I've already got the Angry Birds (so addictive) - and YouTube, plus a handy 'to do' list app.... but what do you guys use?

Amazon Kindle - A lot of people don't seem to know that you can download literally hundreds of literary classics from Amazon for free. I still prefer actual paper books but this is great for sampling lit that I wasn't previously familiar with.
IMDB - The Internet Movie Database has a nifty app for looking up movies, actors and just about everything showbiz. Just checking out all the movie trailers is fun.
Wapedia - This is a front end wrapper for the various wiki databases on the net; its like having an entire encyclopedia in the palm of your hands.
Jewels Deluxe - I'm a sucker for puzzle games with falling jewels and this is a really good one with lots of different game modes.
And lastly, a company called Softick makes some really nice, professional looking (and free) Solitaire variations like Klondike and Spider.
Doodle Jump - even more addictive than Angry Birds
Discovery News - interesting stuff
Pocket God - Mindlessly amusing :P
Mixology - drink recipes

Remote - I love the remote app that works my imac's itunes from anywhere in the house.
Well, that's pretty much my top five. My iphone's a total waste on me.
I do use the ebay app on a rare occasion I guess.
Now my wife loves the geocaching app for when you just want to do some urban stuff without breaking out the GPS and gear. She also uses the priceline app a good bit when we set off with no particular destination. I don't really know what games she plays but she does have a few.
The boss just lost hers today and she tells me she hasn't downloaded it yet
However the guy at AT&T tells me about Familymap on the AT&T website which you can apply for free (for 30 days) and then locate any of your phones....
Guess where the little lady's ifone was?
Yep you got it....in her car.....
U can even locate your iPad ...
Other favs
Logmein which allows full remote control of you laptop or pc....it's amazing and works over the web even when your on a mission abroad....
Whatsapp allows 3G txting which is cheaper and fast
Googleearth .....just amazing...
Bump - immediate sharing with another fone.... So cool...
Skype - almost as good as the pc version...
Puniverse - on board stargazing .... Useful when Pluto enters Uranus
Guitarhero - the classic...Bet you're good with your plucking finger Lexi...
Scanner pro - scans pics and docs into various - ever useful
I Map My Run - Turn on your gps and this app will give you the distance you run (walk) and the speed (mph). You can store your workouts and track your progress.
I Heart Radio - This app lets you listen to radio stations over the phone.
If you like the Kindle app you may like Google Books
Google Voice - gives you a phone number and voice mail for free. You can have any phone ring (home/office/cell...) when this number is called. Offers international calls for fairly low prices.
Notification Toggle - Add any frequently used app to the pull down bar at the top of your phone so you can access these apps quickly.
If you have an iphone you can still get the first two, I don't know about the others.
I am a 'Words Wth Friends' widow !!!
My entire family is addicted. Husband and daughter sit side by side playing all day every day and then play with all the family based in the US. Drives me crazy
Perhaps you need an outside interest of your own my dear...
Roger Moore 1927-2017
Or rather, that's what I'll have to do tonight....
All in jest, have a good weekend everyone....

You'd be banned from playing in our house with that attitude !!!
( I dont really do apps ... apart from a few 'sensible' ones like tube map and 'Whats app' ..... I'm a Blackberry girl and dont really have use for apps but I am toying with the idea of an iPad so who knows ..... )
I've heard of doodle jump.... might just go check that out!
Whats app is brilliant - although it's very data hungry! (usually only use it when I'm connected at home... ) But great, as picture messaging is now not part of contract deals.....
might have to check out bump.... sounds interesting :v
As for guitar hero.... mmmm, never been something that has appealed.... regardless of talent )
As for the scrabble one - well, not for me - cr@p at spelling... and always came last when playing with friends/family.....
Angry birds is so much more my thing
Atomic Lite: better than the default Safari browser if you're as dependent on tab browsing as I am. The free version allows you to have up to 5 tabs running in parallel, from what I remember
Netflix: though it requires you to be in a place with good wireless access, it's pretty good if you're waiting somewhere 30 min. + and want to watch from their excellent "watch instant" library
Sundry Notes: best note taking app for taking more extensive notes during meetings and conferences; looks more professional than some of the other post-it note type interfaces on other note app programs
