Hi I was wondering there was a making of book for the films prior to LTK. I have LTK, GE, TND, the TWINE companion and Bond On Set CR & QOS. I'm just missing the DAD one. While doing a little research today I found a LALD paperback by Pan that looked to be a kind of account of the making of the film by Roger Moore and others. Does anyone have it? I was uploading my books to my site and my 'Making of' section looks like it needs a few more book in it: http://007collection.blogspot.com/p/books.html

Thanks for your help.

edit: here is the link to the LALD book. It looks kinda cool! http://www.flickr.com/photos/coversetc/3592006471/

Yes, I have it. An amiable read in the form of a kind of diary by Moore, though most of it takes in the action with the speedboats and alligators and not much other stuff, so it doesn't cover all the filming. Pics are stills or Rog's own personal snapshots with the kids and stuff. It's all from his personal point of view really, what it's like to step into Sean Connery's shoes, the press line of questioning and so on.

Hopefully you'll also want to get The Making of On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

The making of OHMSS is easily one of THE best factual books on the cinematic James Bond. It's no flimsy booklet either. Big chunky coffee table sized and packed with the most amazing photos. It's also a fine read, well written and very informative.

Wish there were more like this.

I'd advise anyone sitting on the fence to buy this.
