Its the same custom black gortex holster made for the Casino Royale washroom PTS, Quantum titles and sewers chase sequence. It is similar in design to a Vega but with a much more simplified sprung metal belt clip & a less refined shape (cosmetically it could be made for any pistol). You won't find it on a google search.
This custom black gortex holster is a "inside the waistband" holster?
Difference between cordura and gortex material for holsters?
Cosmetically no difference between cordura & gortex however the gortex material is much harder wearing as it has a very tight weave. Yes it is an inside waistband holster with reversible clip for left or right hand draw. Where the Casino Royale Vega holster looked like it could be custom made for a P99 the Quantum PPK holster looks more suited to a snubnose .38 revolver.
Okay last try...
Goldeneye...modified Galco Executive for PPK
pre-titles..custom holster by Angels to accomodate a silenced pistol
TND...modified Galco Executive for PPK as standard model was too loose fitting
Stealth Boat...Modified cordura snap top small auto holster not specifically made for P99
TWINE...custom leather shoulder holster for P99...did not exist as a production holster
DAD...custom leather shoulder holster with belt retaining strap for P99...did not exist etc
Casino Royale...custom Gortex small auto clip holster for PPK for washroom fight sequence
Vega for P99 as previously stated. Custom cordura shoulder holster for P99 Dryden sequence.
Quantum...same custom holster for PPK used on Casino Royale. Used in titles when DC draws his PPK and chase sequence with agent Mitchell.
I have the same galco executive custom from GE, it is correct. I asked them about the one from TND, they only made a VERY VERY limited run only for EON. I would have loved to have the Vega for the P99. I ended up getting one from Alessi Holsters in New York. Outstanding quality and its the best fitting holster I have, wont even print through my suit with all buttons closed.

Based on what I have read so far the shoulder holster worn in Skyfall has yet to be 100% indentified. However in the meantime a possible alturnative exists. Check out www.kirkpatrickleather.com and thier Detective model holster. It seems to look pretty close to what we have seen in the behind the scenes pictures from filming.

When Bond jumps onto the tube train in Skyfall, he is briefly seen wearing a Vega IWB#333 holster with his Walther PPK inside it. This was confirmed by The Mantis over at the James Bond Lifestyle web site.

You sure about that?
In the movie SkyFall, Bond again wears a Vega holster, this time the IB333, which fits his Walther PPK. The holster was spotted by Bond fan sruzgar in the sequence when Bond jumps on the tube train in the London Underground.
Silly question time, but was the holster in SF black and not tan?
Not the one used in the London scenes. It was the standard Vega tan with black clip. They used a black one where Bond was in the firing range, but it was never seen on screen. A black leather IWB MOD issue from the late eighties to late nineties. These are really rare and are ref 964-1254. They were made for the Hi-Power L9A1, Walther PP L66A1 and PPK L47A1. Very rare so don't expect to find them.

Just out of curiosity, who were the main users of the ppk in the forces? I'm assuming the det n others used then during the troubles, but were they issued to others like the steak n sausage?

Air force pilots to some extent(mainly PP and .22 PPK). But in the main - 14 Company, SAS, SBS and RN DI. They are still in some limited service with the SBS, SAS and 14 Company's successors, SRR.
I am interested in purchasing the kirkpatrick shoulder holster from Spectre. What size should I order it in?
My chest circumference is 43,3" or 110 cm.

It doesn't look like the Kirkpatrick was used in Spectre, the new auction catalogue implies that both DC's on screen, and "poster" holsters were very bespoke and only a passing resemblance to the KP.
However it's a good alternative and is adjustable so you don't have to worry about ordering a size...

Ah yes, it's been such a long time I'd forgotten... I checked my invoice and it says shirt size L - I'm a 44' chest too, but it is adjustable.

I checked David Zaritskys video and he has the S which he says fits more like a M. Maybe I should order the M?
What chestsize is David Zaritsky? I thought the S looked perfect on him.

Are you referring to holsters made by the late Paul Evers?
Regards,
Tecolote
He was one of the makers... yes. But they weren't exclusively made by him. The Skyfall holster was a PE model.
