I re-watched AVTAK and I must say, one of the funniest sequences was in Stacey's home. The reaction between Bond and Zorin's man when he gets back up is priceless.

Bond and Grant FRWL, Bond and Oddjob, GF, Bond and Alec, Goldeneye. That fight in the close quarters of that little room between Brosnan and Bean looked painful. I'd always wondered what it would be like to see two Double-0s duke it out. Still, the best has to be Bond and Grant.
Connery is at his toughest and coolest and when he stabs Grant with the knife from his briefcase and we hear Grant's strangled scream and then Bond gets him around the throat with his own garotte. Beautiful.
I like the Grant/Bond fight on the train. It looks very real without all the Jap-slapping and Krav Maga stuff we've seen in the films lately. That stuff is great, and looks cool but it's amazing how most of it gets forgotten in proper combat. I have seen well trained soldiers (British as well as US Marines) literally pounding the enemy with fists, helmets and breastplates and forgetting all about the knife, bayonette and pistol on their belt. When there is only going to be one survivor at the end of the fight desperation and fear play a huge part. You can see it in the faces of Grant and Bond in that fight sequence.

The thing is, that had the whiff of the school yard fight, back in the day when you had that stuff. It's almost two regular guys going hammer and tongs at each other... Now fights are specialist and the implication is that Bond has had special training, certainly in Deaver's new book. Though the fight in the loos in CR is a very good example...
Aside from the famous Grant/Bond fight, and the 007/006 fight in GE, i would have to say my favorite is at the end of TNDs when Bond fights Stamper on the rocket, because Bond clearly cant beat him where even stabbing him doesn't have an immediate effect.

Hmm that's very interesting. I always respected the scene a ton. Not the most memorable to me, but what I did appreciate about it was that it was another fight where Bond was forced to out-scheme the villain, not out-fight him. Stamper was a badass, but Bond was able to conjure up a way to escape and defeat Stamper (The missile clamp, cutting the zipper of his jacket).
Bond and Red Grant in the Orient Express car. . .fast, brilliantly edited, and damned brutal!
I also have to add to that the Casino Royale stairwell fight sequence. Pretty brutal and Bond takes a bit of a beating too. I like it and the aftermath where Bond cleans himself up and has a stiff drink. Delicious!
My favorite is the "Siamese vodka" fight. I also like Lazenby's fights, both the one on the beach and the one in the hotel room. These seem to be the most athletic and kinetic of the Bond fights. I also like the scene in Dr. No where Connery socks the chauffeur. That was nicely done.
Everyone and his brother raves about the Bond/Grant fight, but I find it claustrophobic and not very entertaining. I prefer fights where there's a bit more room to move about, and more light so you can see what's going on.
I can't think of any satisfying fights during the Moore era. If Lazenby had stayed in the role, you can bet there would have been more fistfights.

I just watched GoldenEye a month or so ago without having seen it for years, and i must say i forgot how awesome the 007 vs. 006 fight at the end was. One thing i really like is that while they are fighting with technique, it's also fast, brutal, and desperate fighting at times as well. The couple of shots of Bond looking around the cradle for Alec before the fight creates a sense of anticipation, and then the close quarters makes it apparent that there's no way out of this one. This fight also has great sound design in my opinion. The bang of the single bullet in a small room and then the chains smashing against the metal wall, all awesome. Also, there's no distracting music to create any kind of "fake"/unnecessary tension, the fight speaks for itself. Definitely one of the best Bond fights, and a classic in my opinion.
While Moore doesn't really have many good fights, the one i always think about is in TSWLM when he pulls his tie, and the guy (can't remember his name) falls off the building. The fight itself was decent enough, but i thought the ending to it was perfect for Moore.
Has to be the fight in the Tahiti Hotel room, watched it again. I was blown away by Craigs use of martial arts, I think someday a martial art will be named after him. Makes Jet Li look so slow. Simply stunning. -{

I think one really underrated fight scene of Roger Moores was the closeout scene in LALD with TeeHee. TeeHee connects with a left uppercut to the gut that looks like it could of really taken someone out. Just a beautiful punch.
I agree that Julius Harris (Tee Hee) looked pretty good in that fight. The problem is that Roger Moore never developed the ability to throw a convincing punch, and that diminished the impact and believability of any fight scene he appeared in. It was just never possible for me to accept that Moore's Bond was any real competition for his opponent.

I know it's not quite about a fight. but. I remember as a kid watching LALD nand being really scared of Tee Hee, that metal arm wow!
The bit on the small island gave me goosebumps, thinking of being left in a swamp full of aligators had me pushing myself further back into my seat. )
I liked the fight on the train, it's not Bond v's Grant. but still fun. -{
I do think Connery had the best fighting style of any of the Bonds, mabey from experience :v
