TWINE: Good or Bad?

TWINE for the N64 must be the most underrated Bond game of all time. I've recently started playing it again and I realized that it's a very addicting, action-packed game! What are your thoughts on the video game?

I loved this game as a kid and like you it very addictive I have even emulated it to relive the joy of old but still miss the day of having the N64 even when I had it on the ps1 I found the n64 to be more entertaining even if the ps1 game had clips from the film and different mission like the casino.

But the N64 one is more easy on the eye graphics wise then most game on the ps1.

The N64 version hands down is better. Yes there are some rather difficult parts, like sneaking around the Villa. There is a trick you can use though, if you use your poison darts and the laser you can stun the guards and when they are on the ground you can punch them to get rid of them.....and is wise too, because they can get back up. I was gonna make a new thread for this question, but I'll just ask it here instead; How far into development did this get on the PS2, are there any screen shots or videos?

I think they were some screen shots published online, thought I can not really remember them that well.

As for the Nintendo 64 version, I remember purchasing a copy in October 2000 just after my 18th birthday. By the time I had finished high school in June 2001 I had played the game numerous times and found it to be fantastic. Granted the multiplayer was not anything special compared to Goldeneye, but I liked the new weapons and levels the game offered you. Also after hearing about how bad the TND game for Playstation was I was happy to be playing a James Bond video game at last.

PS: TWINE also had a version devloped for the Gameboy Color which arrived in October 2001 and was terrible to play. I never even finished the final level, since I was so frustrated with it.

Awesome game. I recently downloaded Project64 and played the game. Lots, lots and lots of fun. Not as good as Goldeneye64 of course because GE64 is an all-time classic of video gaming.

Underrated classic. Great graphics, great gameplay, fixes the problems with Goldeneye's controls, more guns, more options, a jump and crouch button and some rather hard but bad levels.

We still play the multiplayer around here.

I agree. Very underrated. I still play it. I was glad it had A.I. As well. Overall a fun game. A little hard at times. Not a 'Goldeneye' but still a great game.

Really, the only thing the PS1 game had going for it was it had clips from the movie.

Did anyone here actually like 007 Racing? I thought it would have been cool if it had been an actual racing game, not doing car missions

I own 007 Racing but i havent played it in years. I remember it being a so-so game. Keep in mind, i wasn't as big a Bond fan when i was little as i am now. Maybe i might like it.

I had the ps1 version of TWINE, I did enjoy it, but I got so for and got stuck and gave up on it.

007 Racing: I remember being really excited when I heard this was coming out, but the game was really disappointing. I think it was rushed out for the release date, and what we got was a half finished game, it could have been loads better than what it actually was.
