Daniel Craig - the new Bond Girl!

He has his shirt off in so many scenes, wears tight little trousers and even comes out of the water (twice) like Ursula Andress. Has the role of Bond evolved to be eye candy for the ladies (and gays), in much the same way the traditional Bond Girls used to? I'm not knocking Craig with this, merely noticing what to me seems a new dimension in film making.

Any thoughts on this?

Get real. Bond has appeared shirtless or in bathing suits from the very beginning. Have you watch the other movies?

I think because Craig had so much Muscle in CR, he looked less like a Traditional Bond and More like a male model doing an aftershave advert. I don't have a Problem with Craig taking his shirt off, Just let's have a few Ladies doing the same thing !. :007)

While RJJB is right ( yeah come on TSA, stop playing with ur new toy and pay attention ) I think this is a definite attempt (babs inspired ?) to appeal to a broader female audience....

And having sat next to two stunning 20 somethings at a private showing of CR and felt the frisson the DC beach scenes created is said girls, I think it's a pretty good idea .... :v

In a recent interview Craig said he was "Gagging" to get back, so might we see a "Gimp ball" ( to appeal to a wider audience ) in Bond 23. :v ) the torture scene in CR must of catered for the S&M market.

and on a side note I thought Audi was the new BMW.

Not knocking Craig RJJB - I just think it is shot wholely differently, in an attempt to hook the female audience. Connery was shirtless plenty, but to a different effect. TP is right, he does strut around like a male model.
