Brosnan and Hatcher's love scene in TND. Awful, awful, awful. You could tell they hated each other. No wonder Piercey needed a couple of shots of Vodka before diving in there.
'Was I too close, James? Was I too close... for comfort?' )
In all fairness to Ms. Hatcher, that was pretty lousy dialogue to work with
Any moment with Roger Moore "acting" like he could fight!
In reality old Rog is was probaly the toughest out of all the actors, he did a number of years in the military and was offerd a commision
but decided toleave the army and become an actor.
That's what I think as well. Moore may have played the lover and not a fighter Bond mostly, but with his size and background I think he could hold his own. Dalton doing stunts and fight scenes is far less convincing to me.
In a street fight I think every Bond would kick Dalton's ass.
Doesn't matter to me what old Rog could do in real life. My point is that he wasn't convincing on screen. All of the others, including Dalton, were adept enough at the physical stuff that it at least seemed plausible that those guys could hold their own in a fight. Not so with Moore, in my opinion. So sue me!

Stunt scene credibility never mattered to me personally. It was the actors appearance that carried the weight for me. I always thought which actor looked like he could be menacing - even in a tux. To me, Connery, Dalton and Craig have that look and I would put them in Menacing Group A. Group B would be the other actors.

look the sort of chap one usually sees in Blades.
Bond knew that there was something alien and un-English about himself. He knew
that he was a difficult man to cover up. Particularly in England. "

He takes an eterntity to answer her. I mean seriously, I was expecting to hear crickets.

"Yes."

I read somewhere or maybe I heard it in an interview that Teri Hatcher didn't get enough sleep before the scene. Yes, the actor's life. Jet Lag maybe. I have no problem with Teri Hatcher in Tomorrow Never Dies. My problem is Brosnan not showing any emotion and being a "poker face". I like "Paris" getting vulnerable and becoming a soft kitty and saying "Was I too close?"

Jeroen Krabbé aka Georgi Koskov The Living Daylights. Dreadful accent and terrible acting. This film also has a poor actress in Marium D'Arbo, and Necros, the henchman is pretty wooden throughout. Joe Don Baker delivers his lines poorly as well.
Still like the film though. 8-)
Necros was perhaps more the physical villain like Jaws or Gobinda from Octopussy or Stamper from TND. The actor's best moment was surely in Die Hard, though.
I'm utterly shocked that I just scrolled through four pages of this thread and never saw a single mention of Gloria Hendry as Rosie Carver in LALD. She must be up there (or down there) as one of the worst, surely?
For me, Rick van Nutter in TB takes the cake as the #1 worst, followed closely by Teri Hatcher in TND. "How about the words 'I'll be right back'?" UGH. You know, that's a pretty good line. It's unfortunate they chose one of the inept actresses on planet earth to say it.

Noone can risk and afford the main actor to get injured. That would be plain stupid.
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Then she had to put up with Brosnan's shoulder nibbling fetish.
Stop picking on Teri Hatcher. I thought she did a wonderful job. I wish she had more scenes.
As Dalton often said.....
...."If you can see it's me, it's me. If you think it's me, it's me"....

"You meant nothing to me." in TWINE reminds me of Leslie Nielsen in Naked Gun 2 "By the way I faked every orgasm"
Also the exchange in Goldeneye between Bond and the new M is pathetic although that is mostly Dench's fault.

Well, someone had to say it...

I always thought it was terrible that he had a scar and it was also his name.
Another one is Geoffrey Cheshire's line delivery when Toussaint collects Bond to see Draco.
"Mr Bond? You've lost something!"
" I don't listen to hip hop!"
That was probably more Roger Moore than Bond to be honest. )
