I think TLD is one of the better entries, but the CIA does come of badly. The two laies who "kidnap" Bondcould have tried to act, so could the person who is Felix Leiter in that movie.
Worst scene averted. The Japanese actress who played kissy suzuki in YOLT spoke NO english at all. She was having SO much trouble with her lines that she became so distraught that she was going to leave the set and commit suicide by jumping off a building. TRUE STORY. The producers ended up dubbing her lines. In fact the producers dubbed the lines of Honey Rider, Tatianna Rommaniva and Domino Durvall with the same voice actress. If you listen close you can hear it's the same voice actress, so having a beautiful women who couldn't act is just something that is woven into the DNA of the Bond films. With beauty like that who cares if they could act or not
Well , I heard that she was gonna commit suicide if she didn't get the part. Todays actresses are spoiled , telling their agents : "Bond.....gawd is this the best part you can get me ?!"
I thought Lupes line "it took me yrs to get away" was decently delivered.......
Scarpine was low key like Loque , he was never gonna be more than a brute.....not the greatest henchman but I've seen worse , I like the look on his face when Zorin kills his men : "you're really getting your jollies now , huh ?"......it's a nice touch.
To be honest it has to be Brosnans rapport with his leading ladies..?
With Electra King - he's fine as she gives him a good relationship but with Natalya, Wai Lin Christmas Jones, and Jinx Johnson he has no relationship. He says the lines but his performance is elsewhere. I remember thinking "does he actually like Wai Lin?". It seems to be the directors problem as well. They just stick the leads in front of each other and shout "action"
