I'm in need of doing some primary research on the representation of gender in the James Bond films, for my A level Film Studies course.
If i could get as many responses as possible, that would be brilliant.

So,
What is it that attracts you to the character of James Bond?
What is it that attracts you to the Bond girls?
What key differences have you noticed between the Bond girls?
Who is your favourite Bond, and why?
Who is your favourite Bond girl, and why?

Their looks, obviously. the best ones are also complex.

There are three kinds: The "Oh, James" airheads, the "I'm Bond's equal" action girls and the complex, interesting girls.

Connery, but Craig may surpass him. A sense of style and threath, I guess.

Vesper Lynd, closely followed by Tracy. Beautifull mysteries.

secret agent gets into a variety of scrapes, a license to kill, he has sophistication
It's not an attraction, more so that they can sometimes play an important part, but some like Jane Seymour and Barbara Bach were hard to ignore and were a welcome addition
Obviously times change as the years go by
Timothy Dalton, a hard edged reality and was nearest to Flemings original character
Jane Seymour or Ursula Andress, couldn't pick between them
