Jon Hamm after DC?

300.hamm.jon.madmen.lc.121409.jpg

Although american, a Talented actor like him could easily make a good british accent, if needed(there are other things more important than that about JB imo)..

He looks and fits the role extremely well imo

What do you think? :D

I'd have to see him act...and hear his British accent...but based on looks alone...no...

Yeah, no way. As much as I like Hamm in Mad Men, you definitely need a someone from the British Isles to play Bond. Or perhaps Austrailia.

He is great in Mad Men, but
    No
    No
    No
    Oh did I mention
    No
well now that I think about it uh
    No
But I don't buy that no American actor can EVER play Bond. British actor play American roles ALL the time and quite often we never know it until we see an interview with their real accents. So while I would prefer a Brit in the role I would never rule out the possibility of an American playing the role sometime in the future. B-) B-) B-)

If it was based on looks alone Craig would never be Bond. Having said that, I don't think he works as Bond.

Well...that's only YOU'RE opinion...just as knocking Hamm back on looks alone is mine...and that is why I also mentioned about accent and acting...two points you decide to ignore :v

Sometimes I get the feeling that people enjoy throwing out the name of any dark-haired, good-looking guy who wears a suit well. But there's clearly much more to it than that, as Daniel Craig has demonstrated - blonde, arguably not as handsome as previous Bonds (although some may disagree), wears the tux pretty well if you ask me. Can we confine ourselves to REAL candidates (preferably British, suave with a noticeable hint of danger, perhaps a bit world-weary)? Or am I off-base in this regard?

Its just boredom and frustration due to the gap between movies and the lack of news...

Craig is not effortlessly handsome, but he is attractive in appearance, two different qualities.

Yes, I suppose that's as good an explanation as any. As long as suggestions such as Hamm are not really meant to be taken seriously.

well, perhaps for TomSawyer is was supposed to be taken seriously... but with the lack in anything else to talk about - it's an opportunity to take the P1ss.... ;)

(all in good humour of course....) You just need to take a look at some of the threads de-railing on the collectors forum to see that... :))

I'm fairly convinced that the next man in the Tux is 'out there' somewhere and under the Radar.
Speculation is a bit like swimming on dry land (uses up energy, but pointless)
