I hear Hardyboy's point about Istanbul being a much-used location, but at the same time, I think it is a great location for a spy film and I hope they make good use of it. It could be great!

I see no problems with it, but I hope we see it in elegant glory and night scenes, not day time sand colored scenes. Casino Royale did a nice job of looking pretty and rich whereas Quantum made use of dingier looking places, some of which could have been shown nicer.

On reading the title of this thread, I thought some where expressing their opinions on Bond 23. )
Turkeys ok, but not very exotic ( these days). I know a couple of people who have holiday homes there.
I'm not really bothered about locations, just so long as they get the movie up and running, ( I'm sure ther'll be another free running sequence, somewhere ) )

Istanbul should be a great location for Bond 23 - way better than Green's eco-hotel in the middle of the Bolivian desert. I hope we see a bit more of it than in TWINE.

With every element of respect for FRWL, I look forward to seeing Turkey revisited with new HD cameras. The landscape as seen in FRWL looked muddled, underexposed and grainy.

Wonder if I can find that factory that Sunspel makes their polos at and get some "irregular" items!

I wonder if they have a "Warehouse" store like some companies... Sometimes the stores closest to their factories are called the warehouse location and they are discounted usually for the sake of supporting that town's economy where the company's factory or warehouses are. Not sure how common that is, but I have heard of more than one company having those in their manufacturing location towns.
