Who has an iPod? Or MP3?

Yeah, okay, loads of you will. However, does anyone know if there are any MP3s as good as the iPod, or are they much of a muchness?

Or is everyone into having an MP3 on their phone, or an iPhone?

I don't think it's worth looking at MP3s now, because you can get an iPod (say, refurbished) for a very reasonable amount, and they are so well integrated and easy to use, reliable and cute, and I'm not even talking about apps or Nike+.

yeah, really, the iPod is the way to go.

you can get a 32 gig one for a good price, and you can throw everything you've got on there and not come close to filling it up. it's great.

Oh wait, I have an iPod like the rest of the world.

Go iPod. I have an iPod and iPhone (I pretty much stick to the phone now) and they are worth the price and design.

I have an ipod and an itouch now...before that I had an Archos and thought it was great - it was certainly easier to load music on it than the ipod/itouch....I now prefer the itouch as you can also get and play the apps as well as play music/movies...

Having said that my son has just got an Archos 70 Internet tablet for his birthday and that is great to use...

I have a Zune MP3 player (not the HD one) and like it a lot. It's a total of 120GB. I currently have 290 albums and 19 feature-length movies on it and I think I still have about 50GB of space left. I like it because it syncs well with my Xbox 360 and the sound is excellent. Not having owned an iPod, I couldn't say for certain if the sound is better, however my boss (who owns an iPod) seemed truly amazed at that the sound quality when he tried my Zune out.

I too have an i-pod.... which is great - however, it is annoying to be tied to only to i-tunes... and switching over your library from 1 computer to another is not that simple... however, it is doable.

Never had another mp3 player to compair it too... but I often listen to it on my fantastic docking station... and that is fab :D

Even with the limits that iTunes may cause, the major market lead that the "i" devices have over any other brand mean that things like the docking station, accessories, Nike shoes, supporting stereo devices, and even cars are very much leaned towards supporting iTunes users. I think the options that have come to surround the brand have given it hefty appeal that far outweighs its cons and competitors.

No offense to Zune, but it has no chance of usurping the iThrone in this half of the century.

Agree, glad that iTunes upped the quality too, hopefully soon everything will be encoded at 320kbps

Smart phone + Spotify is the best bet, although it doesn't have everything. Enough to keep you bopping on the tube.
