I agree, can't see Tom as Bond, but he might have made an interesting Felix Leiter though.

Me neither. Plus with EON controlling the game the only option would have been another Thunderball remake based upon Mclory's script.

Agreed. He is good and has a good presence, but he isn't Bond himself.

Yeah it would have been another thunderball remake, Mcclory had licenced Jack Schwartzman to do two bond movies, Before his death in 1994 schwartzman said he did consider doing the second movie with selleck as bond but in the end he felt it was too soon to do thunderball again

I always thought of Robert Wagner as the American Roger Moore, so if Bond had of Been American from the start we could of had.
