Would you like a shorter James Bond?

What if they had an actor that was shorter than all the other "James Bonds"? Would it bother you?

Like Thunderpussy wrote,we allready have one. I think Craig is a great Bond, but that`s in site of his unconventional looks and lack of height. Actresses such as Tricia Helfer can`t be cast next to Craig because she`ll be taller than him with her high heels.

Yes. Lets have Bond have a mini-me clone.

There's ways to work around it. Lifts and different level tricks if its just a few inches. Shorter actors like Tom Cruise have to use these techniques at times. Even Craig is considered short who is what 5'10"? which isn't really short, but below the 6 foot average.

I really do wonder at the level of some of your questions 8-)

    Try and expand a bit at least...how short 5'10" or 4'3" ?

4 foot 3? Not that short. I am a short man by the way, and I kick very well in the OlO

Oh what they could do with "Nick Nack" now.

Is it just me, or are 362001's posts becoming more and more pointless? I guess pointless is better than racist, but still..........

That's what I'm saying...you need to expand or 'flesh-out' your questions...

Might I suggest a " James360210 random thoughts thread" ? One thread to rule them all.

Stop picking on me. I am vulnerable.

    I'm changing the subject.

Name me all the James Bond movies where "Universal Exports" is seen or spoken.

Why don't you count and name them yourself! 8-)

Because I don't have all the movies with me. Okay, if each person named me one movie with "Universal Exports" in it, seen or spoken, we could make a list. I will start with Dr. No (1962) and Quantum of Solace (2008).

But we're not picking on you. Let me explain. Ever watch a show called Saturday Night Live? On this show they had small sequences called Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy. There's even a website devoted to all of "Jacks" deep thoughts. My favorite is "If you ever drop your keys into a pool of Molten Lava, let 'em go, because, man, they're gone." If you devote all your thoughts into one thread you could become AJBs most loved member. You could even become the most loved James Bond fan of all time. The best solution, one thread for all your thoughts.

The problem with all your ridiculous questions is:

I don't have the feeling, that you'd really like to know. If you would seriously do, you'd do some research and find out or you'd give your thoughts to all these stupid questions.

I have the feeling, that you are only asking, because you have nothing else to do or that you like to move people around and stirr up emotions a bit.

Both I define as trolling and I can't find anything funny or entertaining in it!

    My 2 cents.

Amen to that! Couldn't have said it any better myself. The threads are coming thick & fast and are more & more random in their subject matter. Having said that, at least his latest ones haven't included any racist undertones this time! ;)

Bond actors have all been over 6, hence the hard time he gets from Not-Bond detractors. And over 6 is considered tall to me, upper 5's like Craig is neither short nor tall.

I`m guessing the Bond actor average was 6`1`` , at least before Craig. Six feet would be tall in England I guess, and Craig neither tall nor short. In Norway the average for military age males is six feet, I wonder what it is in the UK. I remember a school trip to London when I was eighteen. We were four boys averaging about 6`3`` spending time together. It was a boost to our self confidence to be a head or two taller than almost everyone save some black males.

The prevailing view is that 5'10 is 'optimistic' to say the least. This is discussed at length (see what I did there ?) on 'celebrity heights' where DC is often featured with a broad consensus that he is no more than 5'9 barefoot and possibly less. For me the issue is one of Gravitas. I said in an earlier post that when DC dons the Tux he looks like the help and not the guest. That said he has surprised me how well he almost makes me forget how miscast he is, which is a testament to how good he can be. Casual clothing works best for him in my view.

Only caught Layer Cake the other Night. Have to admitt ( Hard as it is for me ) Craig was very Good in it. Aso I agree with Zaphod that He's best suited to the casual style, as he doesn't have the Traditional Look for Bond.

Layer cake is superb, and DC was indeed very good in it.
