Fellow members,

I was wondering if any of you had this problem. I was never able to open PDF on Safari, I had to right-click and download them. I found this small free plug-in after a lot of research that solved the problem in a matter of seconds :

http://www.schubert-it.com/pluginpdf/

So if anyone has the same problem, use that.

However, I was wondering if maybe there was another way to solve this problem.

Just curious, what version of Mac are you on? What version of Safari are you using?
Some people would complain even if you hang them with a new rope

It never worked, whatever the version I had. But I have the latest, and I just updated to Lion. Which was a waste, there are basically no differences... except access to Cloud, which doesn't work for iTunes match yet and is useless if you don't have an iPhone.

Did you have Snow Leopard before, or just Leopard? SL was a small upgrade from Leopard. I'm guessing Lion is the biggest upgrade in a few years. I see some differences between SL and Lion. I can't imagine why PDFs wouldn't download though. Just curious if you've tried the Safari Help Box in the tool bar to view PDFs?

Honestly, I find it hard to believe that there is much to complain about when it was $30. I do have an iPhone which has made magic for my life, but even still, the little things that Lion does are worth at least $30 as an OS upgrade.

I can't find anything worth the upgrade. Tests have proven that it's not faster. The only thing is the access to iCloud, which is not really useful for me. And if you want iTunes match, you'll have to pay extra. And Lion doesn't even come with the new iPhoto.

I would not recommend for most people to buy it. They will be another one next year.
