Although the production of the 23rd James Bond adventure, "Skyfall", currently shooting at Pinewood was unaffected, a catering truck feeding the cast and crew caught alight earlier this week.
The fire broke out on January 27 at 9.59pm. Around 30 fire fighters from Gerrards Cross, Beaconsfield, High Wycombe, Great Missenden, London and Berkshire were called to the incident.
Denis Melia, of Gerrards Cross fire station told the Buckinghamshire Advisor: "The lorry was well alight, with flames reaching the top of the adjacent building."
"Crews from Gerrards Cross and Slough used a hose reel and main jet to tackle the fire, which was now spreading to the roof from becoming fully involved and the incident from becoming much more serious."
It took firemen until 1am to completely extinguish the blaze and secure the area
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
Dang. The assumptions were right. The movie magic does wonders for this man. He looked so battered in the unofficial shots. Looks pretty great and put together in these. Looking forward to more!
I believe this official photo will do little/nothing to dispel the concerns of those who disapprove of DC's looks and unshaven appearance. It will be interesting to discover why he is unshaven. Personally, I am fine with it.

Just a quick question about the Aston Martin DB5, I'm guessing it's supposed to be the same one from CR.
which Bond has now Bought a UK number plate ( same as Goldfinger ) and I guess has paid to get the steering
moved to the Proper side, unless he's keeping the American spec. Although they're keeping it realistic as most
classic cars spend most of their time on trailers. )

I doubt it. The registration number marks it as the same car from Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies (Goldfinger and Thunderball had BMT 214A). I would suggest his casual knowledge of the exact model year of the DB5 in Casino Royale means he's familiar because he owns one. Just an opinion with nothing to back it up, but much easier to swallow than having it shipped back to the UK and put through a very costly and potentially highly damaging conversion process.
The image has become the most popular story on the BBC News website, more so than the trial of those involved in the thwarted London Stock Exchange terror attack.
Nice idea Moonraker5 about the DB5. -{
Although I will drag up the old argument that IMHO they
should drop the DB5 from the series. Give Bond a Modern Car and Leave the DB5 as part of
Bond History.

The picture a bit disappointing, I expected a Bond-style, in a smoking or a suit.
Maybe he's undercover....actually doing some spy work. He might stand out a bit too much skulking about Shanghai a blond caucasion guy in a tux.
In those "spy photos" previously seen he just looks "haggard" in this official photo he looks "rugged and cool". Ah, movie magic.

Not at all, you're spot on! I didn't even consider it being the same mark as Goldfinger which is why I got them the other way round. Very interesting indeed. I remember the "error" at the time of Goldeneye was down to the fact that the registration BMT 214A was unavailable as it was still registered to the car which was sold, so they had no access to use that plate, but BMT 216A was available, which is what they used instead. Must be that the 214 registration is again available from the DVLA or has been bought back by the production company.
No Problem, Moonraker5, -{
We all have so much info floating around our heads, Even I make the odd Faux pas.
Here is a pic I posted which showed Bond with a head Bandage, ( I felt good that day
thinking I had discovered something new ) Proof if needed that I was the worlds greatest
Bond Fan.

i love this pic, as someone mentioned above, it does look rather "blade runner-ish", which is great for me since thats one of my favorite films, and i love DC's 5'o clock shadow, reminds me of Sean Connery.
It's a nice shot. Dark, mean and moody. However, I guess some people are never going to be happy while Daniel Craig is in the lead role 8-)
This need not be a 'pro' or 'anti' DC thing, it's really not that binary and simple. For me it's much more about what BOND looks like, which I admit is a subtle distinction. I for one am quite capable of being happy while Daniel is in the role. I would be just as concerned if it was Brozzer in that shot. Admittedly the fact that Daniel is not in the classic Bond mold just adds some top-spin. What concerns me is that this appears to be a deliberate shift again, which for those of us who have recently made our piece with how far DC deviates from the blueprint it almost seems designed to alienate. In fact it's the hair which bothers me more, as most Bond movies unfold over a few days to a few weeks with a couple of possible exceptions. Therefore that is how he will look for the duration.
I know, I know, that we don't know the context but the runes are worrying.

Zaphod, my remark was never intended to be pro or anti. I think you're right, Craig is not the classic Bond Mold. I truly believe that too many people and not just posters on here rely too much on what Bond should look like. Saying that, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and wouldn't it be a boring place if we all agreed?

I get that your remark was not in itself pro or anti, I just wanted to make the point that having serious misgivings did not consign one to an ' anti' camp in the sense that there are looks for DC as Bond that I would be very happy with (another poster made the point that he looked more Bondian in ' Green Dragon' than what we have seen so far)
Therefore it's not that I won't like him as Bond no matter what he does. For the record at his wedding I thought he looked great.
Sadly, Rachel Weisz's wrinkle cream aint gonna be much use....
But he doesn't look too bad in the first shot, it's a new look though Fleming must be turning in his grave. Didn't ol' Fassbender or whatever do the bristle look recently too? But from what I see, Skyfall is a mix of the Brosnan years, bits of TWINE, TND and DAD thrown together. But not Brozzer's best one, the pre Purvis and Wade GoldenEye.

This is good, expect to see the clock, or anything else, right?
The 8 am U.K.time?

Cool another pic of the Aston Martin!!
(Not me, by the way.)
I like the look myself!

Looks rather Bladerunnerish with all that neon
